Excellent service from the doctor for eye exam.
Very poor service when I picked up the glasses. The person did not know how to fix the frame and told me that the frames can be bent. Another person sitting on the desk helped me to adjust the glasses. I asked for the case and was asked when did I pick up the glasses. She gave me an empty case (seems like a used one) with no cleaning cloth to clean the lense. The glasses normally come with a case and a cloth in the case.

Everyone made me feel like I was the most important person. The service was friendly and fast. There was no pressure to buy anything I didn't want. Every option was given with detail regarding pricing, credit plans and deals. This was truly the best visit and place for me.

Clarkson Eyecare Worthington billed my visit to an insurance policy that isn't mine. I've never had that coverage, and it's unclear how my actual information was skipped. Mistakes happen, but errors like this make it hard to trust the practice. It also was hard to clear up. And where did my personal information go?

This is actually the last place to visit for eye care. No one ever answers the phone, after entering #4 as requested OR the phone rings until my phone provider interrupts and saying I need to try again another time. No phone system to take messages to return a call. When questioned, the staff (5), including someone behind the desk, says they are short staffed and do not have anyone to answer the phone. The manager was in the building when our discontent was expressed and other personnel were happy that something was said in her presence. The staff is friendly despite the management.

Despite 3 text message reminders that I had an appointment today they called 5 minutes before my appointment (was littlerally in the parking lot) to tell me my appointment was cancelled because "insurance said I was not eligble for an exam until September" even though I have not had an exam in nearly 4 years. Stated this would have been good to know a few days ago and the person said they just checked it now becase whoever made my appointment forgot to check it earlier . Since I made the appointment online a week before not sure how that works. The person on the phone offered zero solutions except "you will just have to call your insurance company yourself." No 'come in and see if we can work this out' or anything. I would have skipped insurance and paid out of pocket but this was not offered. I decided I would find a place that was NOT Clarkson. Clarkson is owned by the $244 Billion Partners Group based in Switzerland. Draw from that what you will. My conclusion is to find a local business whenever possible.
