Geiger Eye Care

We have been long term customers of geiger, I think the world of Dr.Geiger Sr. But about two months ago I went in to have the ear peices(socks) replaced on a 13month old pair of 300.00 oakley glasses, the girl I handed my frames to turned around and I heard the frames break, she turned around and said oops you need a new frame and these are just out of warranty, I was mad but I bought another similar frame so they could switch out the lenses! I asked to speak with Dr.geiger and I was told he wasn't there but I seen him as I left! I called his fredrick office the next day and a lady there got ahold of dr.geiger and he offered me a 100 credit! Fast forward to Nov 25th I had a yearly vision appointment, after the appointment with our insurance I got to order new frames and lenses (spare pair) I ordered those and new lenses for my oakley sunglasses which totaled over 600.00 paid in full! the lady said it would take about 2.5weeks, after that time (I received no texts like I previous that my sunglasses lenses where in) I called to see if my orders were in the lady said yes your sunglasses lenses are in, so I sent my wife by to get those! I called after the the first of dec and Elizabeth told me sorry we haven't got your glasses sorry! I called today (12/16/2025) and once again talked to Elizabeth, she told me yeah I seen your name ill call you back, about 30mins later she called and stated well the frames came in 12/9 but we didnt send them to the lab until the 15th so with the holidays it might be another 3 to 4 weeks keep in mind its nearly been a month! About an hr later Elizabeth called back stating well we overnight your frames to the lab but they didnt get them sorry, so I then just asked if she could cancel and reorder or get me a refund, she stated ill call you back! About 230pm, once again Elizabeth called me and said we are giving you a refund but you and your family needs to find a new optometrist we dont want your business! I asked to talk to dr.geiger she stated he dont want to talk to you! It seems the rude ladies are running the business and the doctors have no clue what is going on out front! And to make matter worse Elizabeth told me I would have to get a new eye exam with another optometrist because they would not release my records from 3.5wks ago! And they were mailing me out a refund and hopefully my insurance would be updated within 24hr because it wasn't thier problem if the insurance didn't allow me not to see a new dr within a year! Rude! They think there are better than everyone else and act stuck up! We have been using Geiger ever since he opened up! At lease since 2001! I would appreciate if Dr.Geiger Sr got intouch with me!

The staff is always so nice. The patience everyone had with my 10 year old learning contacts was amazing. Everyone there has always been more than helpful! HIGHLY recommend them if your in the market for an eye doctor!

I have never felt more comfortable in any clinical setting before. Most doctors feel too professional and it's almost erie. But not only was everyone in the clinic super friendly, but the clinic itself was super inviting and comfortable. The Dr noticed my shirt, a graphic tee of a show I like, and commented that he also liked the show. It made my visit feel so much more casual.

The only complaint I have is I ordered a pair of oakley wiretap 2.0 prescription eyeglasses which the glasses are great love them w the transition lenses but I spent over 256.00 on these glasses and when I pick them up their not even in a authentic Oakley hard case their in a Nike plastic case and the reasoning behind it supposedly is the oakley rep hasn't been in but I've bought plenty of prescription oakley frames and know a brand new pair of oakleys comes w a oakley soft case and a hard case for your glasses but the staff took my number and claim when one comes available they will call me and I can come get it we will see

Geiger is the best! I've taken two of my children here (3yo and 4yo) and they're so sweet and fun with them! Neither of them were scared/nervous for any part of their appts. All of the staff made the experience very pleasant!

Very great experience. Whole staff was very friendly and inviting. Doctor who saw me and my son was amazing. Had been to Altus Eye Care before and got an exam but still had trouble seeing things and constantly got headaches from the prescription that Altus eye care had given. When my husband and I received our glasses from Geiger it was amazing how well we could see with our new prescriptions. It honestly was the BEST because we had not seen that clearly in years, and it felt like a whole new world. They are also very efficient. My son got his lens and glasses the SAME day. They do lens in office and the ones we had to send off came back in less than a week. Staff also helped pick out glasses that fit well on your face and helped stay in your price range. When my son broke his glasses they replaced them for FREE because they provide a warranty on the frames. Absolutely, 100% recommend.

I took my son to see if he needed glasses for his vision issues and the whole office was amazing from the front desk to the eye doctor himself. I would 100% recommend Geiger Eye Care. They made my sons first eye doctors appointment quick, comfortable, and informative and they had his glasses ready within 48 hours. We couldn't be happier with our experience.

I had an amazing experience. Everyone there was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I didn't like that the doctor said I need bifocals, but that's what happens when you get older. Bryce was great though. Melissa helped me figure out that my insurance was not good and offered info on the best insurance out there. It helped to bring my price down almost $400! I am recommending this place to everyone.
