We have been coming here for several years and Dr Wright has been a wonderful doctor. Not only is she a great doctor, she cares. She treats you as more than just a patient, but as a person important to her. She listens and she remembers what you tell her.

I don't understand why the ratings aren't higher. We absolutely loved this place. They've been very good about working with us on appointments, helping us with our insurance, and the exam was extremely thorough and the staff is quite friendly- a stark contrast to the other optometrist up the road.

This place is a scam! Don't go Beware! I had recently moved to Durant,Oklahoma and needed to get my eyes examined for glasses. The staff is friendly and the place was clean. I'm 65 years old and told the staff that my otc reading glasses were not working anymore and i needed to go stronger. After the exam they said I needed stronger glasses, I paid and they gave me a print out of what I needed to purchase my new glasses. After checking out there prices, i thought id see if i could save on some on-line glasses, due to being on a fixed income, I filled out the info only to realize they didn't give me everything I needed. When I called they would not give me what i needed and told me i had to pay more trying to lure me to pay extra and purchase there glasses. It's a scam!

New optometrist was NOT helpful. Or even nice. I wonder if the owners know how she is running the place? I have purchased 2 pairs of glasses from this place - both were broken within a year... The pair I bought at Lawton Optical last 2 years so I'm certain I am not the problem......

Wonderful ladies, great service. Always a pleasure coming in visiting/getting my glasses. They make you feel welcome and to your needs they pay great attention and detail. I would highly recommend everyone to come into this wonderful wonderful place. Very comfortable and easy-going they make you feel very much ease !

People are very friendly. Expensive. Insurance sucks big time. Better take your checkbook and hold your breath when you get the bill. People without insurance receive 20% discount while those that pay for vision insurance don't. My out of pocket expenses were more while I pay for vision insurance. Hell of a deal if you have no insurance. Sounds like discrimination to me.

I would love to say 0 stars if i could. I have never been so appalled by a medical office in my life. I was a transfer a patient and before they saw me they didn't even make sure they had my previous records. After my exam I asked them on the way to the front desk if my prescription had changed or remain the same. She told me it remained the same. When I got to the front desk, I noticed that my prescription had changed. I addressed this issue with them they said they did not get my previous records and prescription. I told them it had been sent the week before. When they finally found it and found my actual prescription, they took back one of the contact lenses that they gave me and gave me a different prescription. They stood there at the front desk and changed my prescription based on my previous records and not my exam I just had. When I ask them why my prescription had suddenly changed so much, they said "one eye is overworking and the other is under working so by raising the prescription in one eye and lowering the other this would fix it." they changed one eye by .75 and the other by .50. My prescription magically went from -3.25 and -4.50 to -4.00 on both. Moral of the story is they are absolutely clueless. I paid $60 extra for a contact exam that they didn't even do.

My first visit was amazing the 2nd wasn't as great. One of the new ladies was very pushy and it was a bit overwhelming . Appt time went way over what we were expecting sitting in a room alone for 20+ mins . Store is clean and inviting .
