Eye Care of Muskogee

In mass amounts of pain in tears and beyond upset. I have a brain tumor and a severe brain condition that causes swelling in my brain. I came in to get contacts and glasses in Nov the contacts I was given ripped in less than a week, I am a widow with 7 kids, since my appointment over the holidays we have had numerous family emergencies with ER visits and hospital stays. I wore my glasses in discomfort with my brain swelling but had no choice but to be super mom. My head has been hurting so severely that I reluctantly decided to come in praying to God that they would be able to help me with one more pair of contacts since the last ones I had ripped and since financially, I am so behind on everything due to the holiday holidays and emergency room and doctor visit and medicine, I cannot even afford $35 for one pair.. sitting here trying to scramble the money and the rude young lady at the counter had no heart said very clear sorry i had a choice between glasses and contacts in Nov and u picked glasses and I sat there shocked no one mentioned once to me that I could have contacts even though I mentioned my condition and brain swelling numerous times.. so now I'm sitting here in tears trying to come up with money for myself when I needed it for my children, how can I be a parent without being able to see or lift my head from pain?!? This hurts so bad knowing how this world is, how people are so money hungry they can't help or pay it forward.. this place needs a heart and more God..

This is my second time coming in and I have to admit, this place is an entire VIBE! The staff are the absolute best. And Dr. Rice, she's a hoot. She's so kind and very knowledgeable. She made my visit so pleasurable. She and I laughed as though we've been knowing each other accounts life time. Going to any Dr's office, you want to feel seen and heard( this is what I do for a living). Dr. Rice is the best!!!

As far as exams go, they are top notch. But do not get your prescription filled with them, take your prescription elsewhere to get done. I had my appointment almost a month ago and my glasses still haven't been finished. They told me that it could take 2-3 weeks and they still aren't ready. So yes they are great for getting your exam, but you will definitely want to fill the script elsewhere.

Loooove me some Dr. Karla!! The only lady to tell me my vision sucks and still makes me smile! Great doc!!!

Dr Rice is AWESOME. She took the time to answer my questions and concerns. Very thorough in the exam. Helpful and friendly. Will definitely use her in all my future exams.

We had an appointment today with Tarah ONeal at Eye Care of Muskogee. This was me and my mom's first visit. This doctor took her time to explain everything and was a great person to deal with. We enjoyed our visit. Thanks Tarah.

Very professional and friendly. I have used them for decades, the whole team of staff are helpful and friendly. Dr Rice is great and this visit i had the opportunity to meet Dr. O'Neal. She did a great job explaining the different tests of the exam and what they were for.

We love Dr. Rice! She's always so friendly and welcoming. The entire staff is helpful and takes great care of my family. I have and will continue to recommend Eye Care of Muskogee.
