Great Eyecare. Was able to fit my son in last minute and get him some temp contacts.

Absolutely amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Poage is great! I had an emergency for myself and they were able to get me in that same day. We have been going here for almost 3 years now and we are so happy and impressed. Dr. Poage and her staff truly care about the patients! Dr. Austin is great, too! First time seeing her was my emergency appt and I was very satisfied with my experience with her.

The staff and Dr. Austin were beyond friendly and helpful. I came in just to get a check up on my sons contacts and by the end of the apt I scheduled my entire family to come here. Very knowledgeable and a breeze to work with. Thank you to everyone who works here.

Pros: Have been a patient for about 10 years. Always professional and friendly service at the front desk. Dr. Poage will answer all your questions. And she is not intimidating like other doctors. Cons: Shipping costs are insane. Just pick up your glasses or contacts in person, if you can, during office hours.

Poage Eyecare is friendly, knowledgeable, quick to assist, and very helpful! My husband needed an emergency appointment today and they were able to accommodate in the middle of this awful weather! Dr. Poage really took her time to check his eye, explained the cause of severe pain, and provided treatment. Many thanks to the entire team for all of your assistance! You were able to put us at ease and we highly recommend this clinic!

I post this review regretfully. Dr. Austin was great, and the nurse was so much fun to be around. It was the unfriendly and unhelpful office staff that caused the problem. The front desk person was unfriendly from the beginning. Her lack of customer service skills became worse when there was an insurance problem. It wasn't until I told her I was posting a bad review that she even seemed to care and stopped talking over me. There is also not a great selection of frames. There are a few name brands, but not many and most are sports brands. If you want the same boring frames as everyone else, this is a great place to come. The office manager called me several hours after my initial conversation. When I tried to tell her she doesn't have a great selection of frames, she said, "We have hundreds of frames, and I will not discuss this issue with you." I then spent nearly an entire day trying to find another doctor to fill my prescription. (I learned most doctors will not accept a different doctor's rx. This rendered the eye exam I just completed and paid for worthless. Insurance only pays for one a year so was almost stuck.) The other negative reviews on this platform, were also caused by office staff. Unfortunately, you don't know the quality of service until you encounter a problem.

Dr. Rebecca Poage is such an amazingly kind, patient, & professional eye doctor. My family has been going to her for about 10 years. I love how sweet & knowledgeable her staff is and her adorable office makes you feel very comfortable. They were excellent when guiding us along with a surgeon when my daughter had emergency eye surgery; they check back on you to make sure your contact lenses are comfortable and if not they will get you right back in to ensure a proper fit; they explain any costs up front and let you know if there are rebates available; they have a wide range of contacts and glasses to choose from, etc. I give Poage Eyecare a 5+ rating because they deserve it and my family is so happy with Dr. Poage and her staff.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly caring and attentive. They understood the urgency of my situation and prioritized my care. The waiting time was minimal, and I was quickly taken in for evaluation.
