Hicks Brunson Eyewear

I was following Hicks Brunsons eyewear for quite some time on YouTube. It is quite impossible to get so extraordinary glasses in Europe, at least not where I live. I decided to get in touch via e-mail and see if I can create my own glasses the way I wished it to be and it turned out amazing! I got myself a handmade wooden frame from italy and Hicks Brunson created the lenses for me and I am extremely happy how my glasses turned out. I love the 25% amber degrade, which makes every day so much lighter and happier just by looking through the glasses. In the sunlight the lenses turn ruby red quite quickly and I never feel bothered by sunlight at any time, which is quite amazing. I am also extremly happy how the lenses match the Ruby red inside of my frame. I would 100% recommend Hicks Brunson to everybody I know, especially to people like me who are dreaming of getting a perfect fit pair of glasses. Communication was super easy and everything worked super quickly, so don't be afraid ordering from Europe or any other place around the world! Thank you very much!

Big shout out to Hicks Brunson, especially Daniel. Two years ago, I bought Carrera Ducati frames via my local optician. Contrary to my local optician, Daniel is able to create some special lenses and after my prescription slightly changed, I reached out to Hicks Brunson. Daniel was able to take my existing frame and create fully customized Zeiss lenses. We dedicated to go with gradient tint (stone, 25%), flash coating (Ruby) and Photofusion Burgundy. I sent my frame to Tulsa, and Daniel and team turned the order around in 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the frame with the new lenses got lost in transit. Daniel contacted the carrier and because the shipment was insured Hicks Brunson was able to order the same Carrera Ducati frame and did the whole zeiss lens order again. Within 2 weeks the lenses were ready and the result is amazing! If you look for a knowledgeable optician and want something special, go talk with Daniel. Highly recommended!

I came across Hicks Brunson Eyewear via their YouTube channel. They specialized in great independent eyewear brands that you will not find at your local big box optical. I bought a Masunaga frame that was very reasonably priced. The quality and craftmanship far exceeds any pair of eyeglasses I have ever worn. And I have worn glasses for decades. Let's talk about the buying experience. I worked with Mrs Ashley and she was amazing. Buying glasses via email is intimidating but they have a process to measure and align your frames with several photos. This is especially important for progressive lenses. I was able to get a gradient tinted lense with transitions. Most optical centers will say this can't be done. The glasses arrived well packed with some great cleaning cloths. The part I enjoyed the most was a hand written thank you card. This is definitely an "old school" touch. I highly recommend Hicks Brunson Eyewear!!

I have purchased several pairs of eyeglasses, some prescription and sunglasses that were non prescription. As to all of them, both the experience and quality of the end product have been excellent! Daniel, Becky Jo, Ashley and Derek are consummate professionals. What has been even more remarkable is that the prescription eyeglasses were all completed remotely, meaning that I never left California and Daniel never came here to design and make them but all have been terrific.

They create some of the most amazing looks in total custom one of a kind glasses for their customers. I worked with Becki Jo and with her help formulated a plan to create some new custom lenses. The entire process was so easy and within 2 weeks I had my own new glasses. I did a 30% tint of Topaz to Copper with Transitions Xtractive Brown. They were a great company to work with very professional answering all of my questions and when I was stuck on lenses tint combinations Becki Jo was there to guide me. I couldn't be happier with the results and look forward to working with them again on my next pair of glasses.
