We went to this practice for the first time today. We had a great experience with the people working in optical as well as the staff at the front desk. However, we had a horrible experience with Dr. Scott S. Sadeghi. Our appt took 2 hours. We didn't see the dr until an hour and a half after our appt time. He immediately came to high five my 6 year old who was already having a hard day from having to be held down to get drops in her eyes to have them dilated and then had to wait 50 minutes after that to be seen, and he called her dramatic bc she didn't want to high five a stranger when her eyes hurt and she'd been waiting an hour and a half. He was very rude and patronizing to me as her mother as well as to my child. When we left all of my children told me they did not like him and did not want to see him ever again. It was an awful experience. We will attempt the practice one more time with another provider, but if that doesn't go well we will not return again and we will never have an appt with this provider again. I will not recommend him to anyone. We will only attempt it again because the rest of the staff was lovely and my kids like the building.

1-Star Review: Extremely Unprofessional and Rude Phone Experience Our experience with Pediatric Associates & Family Eye Care was incredibly disappointing from the very first phone call. When we asked for a simple estimate of the cost for a contact lens appointment, we were told they "couldn't give any pricing until we arrived." That alone was frustrating -- every other eye care office we've called has no problem giving at least a general price range. After we made an appointment, we called back hoping someone else might be able to provide clearer information. Instead of helping, the woman on the phone raised her voice at us and said, "If we don't know what kind of contacts you wear, how can we give you a price?" Any professional office should be able to give a basic estimate for different brands or at least explain the pricing structure without becoming hostile. It really is that simple. What made the situation even worse was the unnecessary and inappropriate assumption that we needed a Spanish interpreter just because my boyfriend has an accent. That felt rude, dismissive, and frankly like racial profiling. There was no reason to make that assumption, and it added an entirely different layer of disrespect to an already unprofessional interaction. Overall, the lack of transparency, the rude tone, and the inappropriate assumptions were enough for us to take our business elsewhere. If this is how they treat people before they even walk through the door, we can only imagine what the rest of the experience would be like.

This was the absolute worst experience I ever had being at a eyecare place with my two year-old. The doctor was very rude and made smart remarks about my daughter that I did not like, and they upset my daughter when they put the drops in her eyes and told me that I either have to hold her down or they can't do their job. Dr. Sadeghi should not even be in practice. And the front desk needs to learn customer service because she has no customer service and the sign that they have upfront about being grouchy or rude. I think that applies to their staff more than their customers because they literally set low standards and are terrible. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place.

Clinic double booked two patients for the same time. They were already behind as I overheard another Dr. talking with the techs. Stress was an all time high for them, and the discourse shared between the doctor and tech especially while the patient was in the room was completely unprofessional. We asked for pricing since we pay out of pocket. We had asked the front desk before, and they couldn't tell us since it depended on the doctor's wishes. Mind you we got there 20 minutes early and we were waiting 10 minutes past the appt time, and they could've asked. Before anything started, we asked the tech and was able to give us that number. Simultaneously, we asked the doctor questions regarding the patient's eye prescription. Attitude and demeanor completely changed, told us we were wasting time asking unrelated questions to the procedure being done. Insinuated there was no point in continuing with the goal of the appointment since we were asking for pricing. We perceived that comment as we couldn't pay or we looked like we couldn't pay which felt a little belittling. Mind you, patient-education comes with the job in the healthcare field and ultimately just felt closed off for asking a question - esp. when you see this doctor once a year. My entire family has been coming here for over 5+ years and we ask for the same doctor every time. This experience was really shocking to see since it has never happened before. Definitely left a bitter taste. ** Additionally, they had no problem continuously apologizing to the other patient that was double booked and I overheard the staff referring to them as an "easy patient." We only received an apology from the tech regarding the doctor's behavior.**

I have been with the dr that retired last year and I like him did not push anything very kind and understanding. Then the other doctor came he was so bossy no respect and I agree with the other comment he treat's a parent as a child and pulled so hard on my kids face to keep him still in my child being in pain and then the doctor saying say something to My kid to help them I almost lost it as a parent could not believe how rude . With my daughter non verbal tell me to talk to her is does not focus that way . He was rude did not want to listen like he know my kid better then I did . My kids were both so scared from having to be pushed to have drops before that so it give them the worst experience ever .

I've been taking my special needs children here for around 36 yrs. Dr Denslow was my daughter's surgeon and eye specialist . Dr. Sadeghi was supposed to be seeing my daughter in place of Dr Denslow per his request, but the last time she seen him he put in her chart that he released her to see anybody else but him, unfortunately he never mentioned this to me and I feel he should have talked this over with me. She is a special person and has a high anxiety level that requires a pediatric approach that Dr Denslow comprehended. If she can now start seeing anyone then we'll be going somewhere that has nicer customer service. The lady name Vicki in the S. Yale location seems nice but this also is sadly a facade. After 36 years with pediatric eye, we're going to separate our ties.

Normally I like this office. I scheduled an appt 2 months ago for right before school. They called me several times to move me up I declined. I wanted the appt at the time I scheduled. I called today to verify the location ( we only come once a year). They had cancelled my 2:40 appt. No reason. No call. But they said go ahead and come in and they could get us in. I didnt realize that meant we were bottom of the totem pole. We've been here almost 1.5 hours already and still haven't seen the Dr. yet. my special needs child Is as unimpressed and irritated as I am.

I've never felt so belittled at a doctor's appointment for not immediately understanding a question. It's also challenging to explain my symptoms when the doctor keeps interrupting me. Dr. Tandon needs to be more compassionate and patient when a person is trying to communicate (despite the patient's background) Her behavior was very unprofessional.
