Honestly I really liked the Tech Melissa! We had a great conversation and made me feel super comfortable. She also helped me with contacts for my first time and was super gentle. Everyone at the front desk was amazing and super sweet!

Staff was nice. But the prescription i was given felt of the moment I put the glasses on, I told them something was off/ not right but they told me I should feel that and should just wear them to "adjust". I tried to wear them for an hour at a time and constantly got migraines/vertigo. I've worn glasses for over 18 years and have never had to "adjust" to an updated prescription. The building is a little sketchy, some tech is be while other pieces are 80 years old. They didn't listen when I told them something was wrong and just said you'd get use to it. They didn't take me seriously when I tried to advocate for myself. I'm never coming back here. Wasted money on bad glasses and my 1 insurance covered appointment for the year.

I love Dr. Rainwater. He's very kind, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for his patients. I've gone to him for years and hope to continue seeing him for many years to come. I highly recommend Dr. Rainwater's common sense approach to treating his patients. He's truly the BEST!

Not sure what's is going on here. Dr. Rainwater is a nice Dr. But his staff has to get it together. First my contact order was not placed after I paid. When I called to check on the status they said I did not pay i only payed for my glasses. So then they had to replace the order and have them shipped to me. I never received the order. Had to call again. Finally placed the order for pick up. I like to wear my glasses more often than contacts so today my glasses which are not old I had glasses longer with no issues and the screw fell out already. So I decided to put on my contacts. They labeled my boxes with the wrong letter geez. Thank God I know my prescription but really I guess they don't want to see me anymore.

This review is not about Dr. Rainwater as I never saw him. I saw another doctor operating out of this office. My entire experience here was uncomfortable. I wear one contact to correct my distance vision. I went in because I was concerned that my near vision was declining. After the exam the doctor kept trying to convince me to wear two contacts instead of one. I have no reason to change what I'm doing. This discussion went on for a while until I asked what the results of the eye exam showed. They showed that my near vision was still 20/20. The doctor told me she wanted me to go with what I felt instead of what the results of the exam showed. It was a very odd conversation. I ordered a pair of glasses and a box of contacts. The doctor asked me if I wanted one box or two. I had to ask how many contacts came in a box. During my time in the office I overheard the exact same conversation with another patient. Why wouldn't you just provide this info up front instead of making people ask, especially since it's clearly a common question? Same when I went to check out. I was given the option to pay then or when I picked up my order. I had to ask how much it was instead of just being told. Then I had to ask when they would be ready. It's like giving out information is not how they operate. About 5 days after my appointment I got a message that my contacts were ready. I went in to pick them up and incorrectly assumed my glasses would be ready also. When I asked about them, it was chaotic. They were looking through boxes on shelves, on the floor, in a back room. It was like there was no system where they could look up my name and see the status of my glasses. Finally I'm told they aren't ready yet. Also, the doctor I saw was standing behind the reception desk when I walked in. We made eye contact but she didn't acknowledge me in any way, not even a greeting. I don't know whether she recognized me or not, but either way it felt very awkward. You are a doctor here and can't say hello to patients? I didn't get a call until 2 weeks after my appointment letting me know that my glasses were ready. 2 weeks is a very long time. I don't know if it actually took this long or if they just didn't call me until then. I see Dr. Rainwater has excellent reviews. Unfortunately I never had any contact with him.

When my son came home from school complaining of not being able to see out of one eye, Dr. Rainwater examined him within 30 minutes of my call. When my husband's new glasses hadn't arrived in three weeks, Dr. Rainwater personally took care of the situation and we had my husband's glasses that evening. Dr. Rainwater is not only the best around, he's a genuinely good person who cares about his patients.

I have been using Dr Rainwater for a long time. He is very thorough and takes time to listen to concerns. He leaves his contact information available if there is an eye emergency after hours and is always quick to respond. He is always prompt with appointments and provides the best care!

Updated... today. We returned to this office, to have Dr. Rainwater give my Husband an eye exam, & found the staff & Dr. Rainwater just as We said before. We are so pleased We found this Doctor & his wonderful staff! They truly made my Husband & Me feel so good. Not paying close attention, We went thru the wrong entrance for His appointment & they were so nice about it. Again, We highly recommend this Doctor! We recently relocated here, & Dr. Rainwater was on our Health Plan, & My Husband was so Happy with His Appt. As The Dr. was Professional & Yet Very Friendly.
