Dr. Ford her staff are amazing! She and Sylvia tested Emmalyn and established a plan to help Emmalyn with her reading. There are also recommendations given for teachers at their school. Emmalyn has had Natallie and Jared as therapists and they have been so positive and encouraging. Emmalyn enjoys coming and doing the activities with them. Everyone in the office is very friendly and personable. Dr. Ford even checks to see Emmalyn's progress throughout the testing. We highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed.

Due to a head injury that affected my vision my doctor sent me to see Dr. Ford. I was nervous and had no idea how eye therapy would help my injury. At my first visit Dr. Ford and her staff were friendly, caring and informative. Dr. Ford, Jessica, Jerad and Natalie nursed my vision back to where it should be. I had a TBI and it affected my vision. I came to see Dr Ford and she recommended vision therapy. I can't tell you what a difference it has made for me. My headaches are down from daily to maybe a few times a week. My eye has stopped wandering. It's been worth every dollar that I paid. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. I can't recommend her clinic enough.

I just completed my vision therapy and couldn't be more pleased with the results! I had given up being able to read books because my vision would get blurry so quickly. Now I can read for an hour with no problems! They were also able to greatly improve my dizziness that was caused by ocular / vestibular damage. The staff were amazing and very enjoyable to work with and Dr. Ford was great! I would highly recommend all of them!

My whole experience with Tulsa Vision Center has exceeded any expectations that I had for vision therapy, I can see and feel the difference that the therapy has made on my vision and in my life since my head injury/concussion. I called and spoke with Indya to get detailed information about testing for binocular vision dysfunction. She told me I could seek reimbursement through my insurance if I submitted an itemized bill. My insurance representative was more than willing to help, but they needed the CPT and diagnostic codes to determine coverage. When I called back, Indya said she couldn't provide any of those codes and was short with me on the phone, showing little interest in helping. At one point, she even told me to "go to the website" to read more information--an unhelpful response that made it clear she didn't care to assist. Regardless of the diagnosis to be determined, a legitimate medical office should always assist patients with billing or procedural codes--especially when insurance specifically requests them. My insurance representative even mentioned that if the office didn't want to share the codes directly, they could simply call the insurance company. Based on the lack of effort, it's clear they wouldn't bother to do that either. The lack of transparency and care was disappointing and unprofessional. I called another office in OKC that offers the same testing, and they immediately provided five possible codes with a full breakdown--no hesitation or confusion. I was able to verify everything with my insurance and booked an appointment with that office instead. Do better in servicing potential patients. ***Follow up to their reply*** Let's set the record straight -- I never refused to pay a deposit. I simply questioned the 48-hour cancellation policy because I live two hours away and wanted clarity before committing. Twisting that into "not wanting to schedule" is a convenient way to deflect from the real issue: your staff's lack of transparency and unwillingness to provide basic billing info. If another office can give multiple CPT codes on the spot, you can too -- you just chose not to.

My husband had major stroke that affected vision. With glasses and weeks of therapy, he is now able to read large print and we are still working on fine tuning this. We are grateful that Vision Development Center is able to help us. Note that we have to do the homework in order for the program to be helpful. It is a commitment, but worth it to be able to read again.
