It's nice to have insurance, they don't cover as much as I thought they would for how much I pay a month to have them but they are alright I suppose cheaper than most from what I hear. My glasses are cute though! Thanks to primary eye care in sand springs!

I needed new lenses and it was going to cost me almost $800 with Vision Care Direct and that's with me using some old frames. When I couldn't afford it I asked the eye Dr. assistant to see what it would charge if I still had VSP, only $398 with VSP. I plan on going back to VSP once open enrollment opens in October. Don't be fooled by all the "free" stuff Vision Care Direct offers.

Mostly good experiences with them. I have kept them as my vision insurance for the last few years. They provide great coverage, just wish the lab they used was closer and didn't take so long and there were more options available to choose from when choosing glasses that are covered by the copay.

I went to zoelners in Tulsa to get my eye exam and glasses. Out of $536 I only had to pay $189. That is awesome. Got a good pair of frames with bifocals and scratch resistance and transition lenses. Best price I have ever had to pay.

Website is their biggest detriment. It just shows a benefits page with all functionality disabled so you can't search for providers etc.
The plan I'm on doesn't really seem worth it compared to just paying out of pocket as opposed to 26 payments direct out of my paycheck all year but what can you do.
