Have only had wonderful experiences at this clinic! Dr. Duimering is our family's optometrist and not only has she provided excellent care to myself, she was also fabulous with our 6 month old baby. She is lovely, patient, and answers all of your questions. The clinic is clean, beautifully decorated, and caters to the entire family. Would recommend to anyone!

I've been going to Oxford Optometry for over 10 years and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I called ahead and one of the front desk staff clearly told me I could pay on Friday when I get paid. She confirmed it fully on the phone. When I showed up, the office manager acted like that was never said and told me it wasn't allowed. It made me feel ashamed and embarrassed for even asking after I was told it was okay. I told her after I pay I won't be coming back and she actually asked "why not." After this experience, I have no reason to. Terrible customer service and I won't be returning.

My initial first experience was fine here, until the sunglasses I paid hundreds of dollars for broke within 35 days of purchasing them. I returned to the store to see if they could be fixed. They told me I would have to pay for shipping to have them sent away, and pay for them to be fixed. At this point I expressed how that didn't seem fair, given that they were so new and so expensive. They said there was nothing they could do about it. I asked for a refund and they could keep the glasses, and I was refused that as well. Extremely poor business morals when hard working individuals are choosing their store to spend hundreds of dollars on sunglasses. I definitely will never shop here again. It's unfortunate because I truly love to support local.

I ordered a pair of brand-new frames from Oxford Optometry. The photos attached are what they attempted to give me. Upon receiving them, I removed the glasses from the bag they were in and inspected them. I never put them on my face. They gave me a filthy used pair of broken frames and tried to tell me that they were just dusty from the supplier. As you can see in the photos, the frames were covered in scratches, had makeup marks on them, filth was caked into every crevice of the frame, the hinge on the right side of the frame was broken and missing plastic, and the nose pieces were green and filthy. This is unacceptable in an everyday market, but to give me a filthy used frame with other people's germs on it, in the time of covid is beyond unfathomable. When I received the frame, I immediately brought them back to Oxford Optometry and advised them that they had given me a used, broken frame. The receptionist took the frame to the back area for inspection, and then after a few minutes, she brought the broken frame back to me. The receptionist stood in the lobby with me and argued that the frames are simply dusty and that they are in fact not broken at all. It took over 10 minutes of me insisting that the frames were broken and filthy, and me refusing to accept them before she took the frames back from me and told me that she would order me a new frame from the supplier. This business clearly has no morals. They never once apologized or admitted their mistake. Had I been elderly or not known any better I would have paid for a pair of used broken frames. Inspect your frames CAREFULLY, or even better, avoid this overpriced business altogether.

Super nice! I broke my glasses and while they couldn't fix them, they found another frame for me. Took all of 20 minutes. Very thorough when you get your exam done. My mom recommended them to me and I switched immediately! Happy customer of many years! Thanks to the staff for being awesome

I had a disappointing and misleading experience at Oxford Optometry during a recent contact lens assessment. After paying for the exam and trial lenses, I was told I was receiving 10 pairs of lenses to try. However, when I opened the package, I found 10 lenses for one eye and only 5 for the other. Since lenses are used as pairs, this effectively meant I only received 5 pairs, not the 10 that were communicated. When I reached out to express my concern, the clinic responded by saying the fee was for the fitting and the doctor's time, and that the trial lenses are just "extras." If that's the case, then why wasn't this explained at the fitting? More importantly, why can't they acknowledge the error of dispensing mismatched quantities or offer a resolution? Instead, I was left feeling misled. I've received trial lenses from other optometrists before and have always been given clear, transparent information. Unfortunately, this was the first time I left an office feeling deceived rather than cared for.

Worth the drive to Woodstock! A large, full service, attractive clinic. Dr. Duimering is extremely professional, friendly and took the time to explain the results of my eye exam. The receptionist and the technician helping me select my new glasses were also amazing. I'm very impressed and very happy with the service and attention I received!

Dr. S. Andreasen and the staff are amazing. They always take the team to answer my questions whether it is a phone call, a drop in, or an appointment. My family and I feel valued as patients and we never feel rushed when we visit the office. We have complete faith in their knowledge! Highly recommended!
