Who loves going to the eye doctor? I do! For over 15 years our family has been seeing Dr. Chewerda and Dr. Chewerda (yes there are two of them!) They might just be the best optometrist in the Pacific Northwest! The Chewerdas have always proven themselves to be extremely competent, compassionate, and customer focused!

Absolutely amazing experience best I've had in along time at any eye doctors. First time going here staff was super friendly I loved the atmosphere and the doctor was so kind. I had been having a pretty bad couple of days and he overall just made my day and my experience so nice. He was so knowledgeable and made me feel so much better about things I was told at my last eye doctor appt. I beileve the doctor I had was Tom. I can't say enough good things about the doctor and the staff. If you're wondering if you should go here, you should! They're amazing! Thank you!

Saw Dr. Tom Chewerda for my first eye exam in several years today. He was super kind and took the time to get to know me and chat, and made it very clear that I was welcome to ask any questions I had. I didn't feel like just one out of many patients he'd see in a day. The front desk staff were also incredible although I didn't catch their names (sorry about that, and thank you both for all of your help!!) For someone with a lot of social anxiety it was a really awesome experience and I won't hesitate to return or recommend friends!

I took my 2 boys who are 3 and 5 years old for their first eye exam, and it was a great visit. The doctor was super funny and very kid friendly while performing her check up and very communicative. Front desk is very helpful too.

Greeted by friendly staff. No long wait time from start to finish. Office following all CDC guidelines during these virus time. I felt very much at ease. Great selection in frames. Doctor had a good bedside manner friendly. Have recommended Family Vision and will continue to do so to friends, family and co workers.

If i could give 10 stars i would . I have a problem with eyelashes growing inward and scratching my eye .When i call they always get me in asap .Both Dr. Sara & Tom are wonderful and the people at the front desk are friendly . I highly recomend this provider

2023 Updated review. Clinic is not transparent about charges. I called to cancel my appointment and told them that I wanted to see someone in network since I only had a $10 copay. They said since I have a medical diagnosis I could still see them even though they were out of network. This was not true and I ended up being charged a $40 copay and they argued that it was my fault and I didn't have to go there. Wont return. 2021 Love the Scappoose Family Vision of Oregon! Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and provides amazing service! Their quality of their eyewear can't be beat!

Just Amazing! I have been to both location with my kids and it has been a great experience. Everyone is professional and caring. Took my 2 years old girl to the Scappoose location and I'm beyond amazed. Very positive experience for my little girl.
