They can't produce an invoice 3 weeks after the appointment to file my insurance claim. Long time progressive lens wearer and tried this place as a new patient, and I can't even read with my new glasses, but they need to be worn for 2 weeks regardless before they will accept a problem with them.

This place offers truly outstanding customer service. A representative by the name of Angelique (or Angelica?-- I'm so sorry I can't remember for sure) went way above and beyond to help my elderly mother and I, who were in for help with some badly damaged frames, yesterday. As long as my parents continue to live in the area, Cascade will be their one and only eye care center, for sure. Thank you, Cascade Eye Center.

Writing this review only after sharing feedback with Cascade Eye Center and still not getting any resolution. I got 3 pairs of glasses that I literally could not see out of. Staff made me feel like it was my fault and I was a total inconvenience. I got excuses at every turn including that I told them I wore bifocals which I absolutely never had and never did. One front desk staff person is terribly rude. I witnessed her turn away an elderly man needing a nose piece adjusted (30 seconds?) because they were going to lunch. Spoke to him like he was a child. Eye rolls and whispering galore among staff. They have a major customer service and training issue that needs to be addressed, not make excuses for. Guess I'll donate my useless glasses to a charity since this was "the last time they'd order new lenses for me", as if it were a favor! So disappointing...

Dr. John Willard is a awesome eye doctor. He checked my eyes for any signs of serious damage or vision difficulties to them because of my diabetes . He also did my, & my husbands cataract eye surgeries so we both were able to see so much better. But that was only to be able to see far away, so we had to have new great glasses, so we could really see near & fine print to be able to read small print. I had to get use to moving my arm further back to see clearly. I was not use to that, compared to my seeing only near to me before my surgery on my eyes. It took some getting use to, & adjustments.

Horrible place. Dr. Bricker don't listen to his patients to serve them well for their eye health. The optical person i seen argued the whole time with me about my glasses, they won't let me see another dr so I'm having to go get a 2nd opinion from so where else. Mind you I just paid 350 for my glasses that don't do me any good. Pretty sure imma have to talk to a lawyer now

Coming from Goldendale at the end of a surgical work day, I really appreciate the walk in optical service without a needed appointment. Angelique and her manager were exceptional in their attention to detail and cautious adjustments to my eyeglass frames. I kept abreast of the steps needed to complete this delicate adjustment given my strong prescription and heavy lenses. I am grateful that The Dalles has such an exceptional ophthalmological and optometric office available. Outstanding staff and exceptional service, which exemplifies pt. care and professionalism. Thank you for fitting me in and assisting me with an unexpected eye infection. Quick, painless, and I was listened to. Very nice bedside manner from the doctor and nurse. I want to note that the receptionists really took care of me above and beyond by listening to me in when I was in pain, checking all my insurance for me and clarifying when vision and medical would be billed for different services, and just being gems. I wish all medical offices were run this way.
I can see why this place is recommended by my primary care provider.
They weren't taking new patients when I first moved here and I am so thankful they are now. Get in here while you can.

So i made an appointment to get contacts and had to cancel due to staffing issues at work. I called over 2 weeks in advance to cancel my appointment and they still charged me an inconvenience fee of $25. When i called to pay it i told them i would not be making another appointment and i would go elsewhere. Id rather drive to Hermiston to family affordable eye wear. The people are great and they understand that life happens. Not to mention they give me my glasses the same day. No waiting.
