Scheduled an appointment and had to wait a month to get in, then I was 5 minutes late due to traffic so they cancelled my appointment and rescheduled me for another month later. They even offered to schedule it late in the day to work around my work schedule. I get text confirmations that my appointment is scheduled and even get reminders. I get a barely audible voicemail also reminding me of the appointment.
I show up and the office is closed. I can't find any reason why it would be, and I re-listen to the voicemail several times before I finally understand that they must have been asking me to reschedule (impossible to tell). They only called me one time, left barely a voicemail, and never let me know the appointment was cancelled.
Already had hours wasted of my time and I haven't even gotten to see anyone. Won't be coming here ever again.

Easy to get an appointment for the next day however I am it impressed with this office. Been going there for few years and it slowly declined. I wear both contacts and glasses but only went for contact lenses exam. The doctor did not offer any new contacts for me until I asked for them but then office did not have a trail pair for me which they said they would order (ok, no big deal). Two weeks later, I am still waiting for the TRAIL pair of my contacts and I have called the office 3 times to see when they are going to be in and every time I call, the receptionist takes my name and number and says someone will call me back- which is yet to happen. However when I made the appointment, I got a call from the office within 2 hours to get my insurance info as I made the appointment online.

They are not transparent about the prices of contact lenses at all. When I scheduled my appointment, I specifically asked if they charged a contact lens fitting fee. They told me they did not. However, after my appointment, they told me that I either had to purchase my contact lenses directly from them or pay for a fitting fee to get a copy of my prescription.
This was frustrating, considering I chose to go here over another eye doctor that was closer because the other place was upfront and told me about their fitting fee over the phone. I chose to purchase my lenses from Vincett, because I figured this would be cheaper than paying the fitting fee. However, they charged me $90 per box and 1800-contacts had the same lenses for $50 per box.
I found the eye doctor to be very professional and he took the time to ensure that my prescription was correct. But I will never return due to their lack of transparency with billing.

Prior to the appointment, I was advised by the staff that my health insurance carrier would cover the cost of the office visit. A month later, they said it wasn't and wanted me to pay the full price. I would have delayed my appointment had I known.
Their contact lens are grossly overpriced. When I received my last order, it contained the wrong prescription. They didn't even realize this error. I wore the wrong lens for three days before I figured out their screw up. This place is an ongoing disappointment.

Great care is taken to make sure every thing is exactly as it should be, from corrective lenses, to contacts, to frame choices, to eye health. Service is prompt and professional. If I had an eye health/vision problem beyond the need for glasses, I am confident that this group could provide the needed services without my having to be referred elsewhere. I have been a patient here since moving to the Pittsburgh area 10 years ago and I would not consider changing eye doctors.

Woman at the front desk was very rude. I previously paid for an appointment to get a prescription from them, and they would not give it to me or another doctor. To my understanding, withholding/not releasing a prescription to the patient is illegal. (I recorded this entire conversation.)
I needed to get contacts asap, but they told me I could only get them from them, which I cant do because I'm currently away from home - so she made it impossible.
I don't recommend this place at all.
I would go to Carlisle Vision Care instead.

I've had a really bad experience here. The place is modern and nice with all of these up-to-date machines but the staff is rude and the cost is 20% higher than other places (cause you have to pay for all of that expensive machinery). They upcharge on the contact lens like crazy. Then I had an issue with my contact lenses and the doctor wanted to charge me extra to see her again! Which I didn't do. Then I wanted to change from two week contacts to dailies and they wouldn't approve the change until I went back in for another eye exam. This place is only out for one thing--YOUR MONEY! Don't fall for the glossy atmosphere. It's a money suck.

The staff is welcoming, the optical assistance is knowledgeable (and not pushy), and my optometrist Dr. Vincett is the best I have encountered. He provides friendly, thorough care and always takes the time to answer my questions and explain my options for vision correction. I have been a patient here for several years and wouldn't go anywhere else.
