Came in for an eye glass prescription and was very clear when scheduling and in person that it was to order glasses online. Felt rushed throughout the visit. Prescription only changed by Dr. Jablonowski adding an astigmatism correction, even though I have never experienced symptoms for that which I also clearly explained during the visit. Ordered fames+lenses online using the provided prescription but needed to use my old PD measurement for my current lenses because that was not provided on their prescription. Current lenses work fantastic, but the new lenses I ordered with Dr. Jablonowski's prescription do not. The prescription for the new lenses was incorrect. Dr. Jablonowski had wanted a follow up visit to prescribe a newer drug, xdemvy, for treating demodex (mites in the eyelids). Although I explained I have not had any symptoms described on the xdemvy pamphlet both in the original meeting and the follow up, she still prescribed the drops. I asked her about the incorrect lenses prescription during the follow-up. She refused to entertain the idea that her prescription was wrong. She did not offer to test the lenses even though I brought them to rule out that the manufacture messed up. That would be an under 5 minute process. She stated it was likely due to the PD measurement being wrong, even though I used the same PD measurement that was used on my current glasses which works great. She refused to measure my PD when asked to demonstrate that wasn't the issue. Another under 5 minute task. Her reasoning was that she would not want to have her employee measure it when I was not going to buy frames from them, even though I was clear throughout both appointments that I was coming to have a prescription made for purchasing frames and lenses online. She claimed that online manufactures are notorious for getting prescriptions wrong (which I do not believe) and that what I purchased was likely a $10 material cost for the glasses and frames. Although besides the point, I know for a fact that is incorrect for what I purchased based on patents and lens material, and that the majority of the frames in her store are under $10 material cost and only marked up due to licensing fees. If you don't believe me, listen to the "Why Do Your Eyeglasses Cost $1,000" episode from the Freakononimcs podcast. The experience was already frustrating, but even more so when that unneeded insult was thrown in. I came to Dr. Jablonowski's office because I wanted to support a local business. During both appointments I felt rushed and unheard for what actually affects my life (needing a full and correct prescription for purchasing online frames and lenses) while also being pushed to use drugs for issues I experience no symptoms of. I feel that Dr. Jablonowski did not have my care in mind but instead wanted to push for more follow ups for insurance payments. Due to that, I won't be filling that prescription because I do not trust the diagnosis was made in good faith and will I not have any follow up appointments with Aspinwall Eye Care.

Love Dr Jablonowski! Been with her for years. What's better is she's a private practice- gotta support the small guys! She's chalk full of information plus she has retinal imaging which is a huge plus with my family history of poor eye health. Wait times are nearly non existent. Diana was super helpful with picking out frames that suit my face&with billing/ insurance. 10/10

My husband went to Lynn to get an up to date prescription to order some anti slip sports glasses. When he went for a follow up bc he thought the RX was off, she wouldn't measure his PD bc he wasn't buying frames from them. She wouldn't listen to him when he brought his glasses with her new rx. She blamed the manufacturer, but wouldn't even test the lenses. She also tried to Dupe him in to several follow ups for a condition he magically developed after not having any history or family history of it in nearly three decades of living. Clearly here to increase her billables not to provide patient care.

Great Eye Exam. One of the most thorough exams I have ever had. Happy I made this choice to go here.

Dr. Jabalowski is extremely thorough and patient. I've been going to her for years and I would not switch to anyone else.

No-dilation is a really good thing to me. Very well equipped lab. Very individual approach to patients, backed with profound knowledge and experience.

Dr. Lynn spends time with you making sure you understand everything because your eyesight is so important. She doesn't send you on your way with your new prescription, she makes sure it's right for you!
