I come here because I absolutely adore Dr. Liu. She is the sweetest doctor and I have been seeing her for years. However, just want to echo what others are saying about poor customer service from one of the technicians. I'm not sure of her name, but she is extremely rude. I called to make a follow up appointment this afternoon because I feel that my latest glasses prescription may need some tweaking, and explained that the vision in my right eye is distorted. She said "well you're not supposed to look out of one eye with glasses, you're meant to use both." I wanted to tell her about herself, but instead chose to reword my concern, stating that my vision is distorted with my new glasses, and I believe it to be stemming from my right eye. She sighed the entire time I was on the phone with her (sorry for inconveniencing you at your job). I let her know that the first date she suggested for an appointment didn't work for me, so she scoffed and said "well, your 60 days is coming up..." Just an incredibly rude employee. Please get her some good customer service training.
Avoid Baden vision center at all cost! I recently purchased 2 glasses from them. They are really inexperienced workers. They upcharged me on a few things that I didn't request. They picked and chose and changed the prescription later to charge more! I returned my more expensive glasses because they were uncomfortable and refunded my cheaper one. They still owe me over $300. They are not associated with Walmart. Avoid this place like the plague! Unless you want your hard earned money get taken by these clowns. Always excuses. No positive results.
Went in there last night around 6:20pm to buy some glasses for my daughter. Already had a prescription.
The lady was so rude. She made sure to remind me several times that they close at 7pm... emphasizing that it meant they're leaving at exactly 7pm.
I had to get a stern tone to get her to back off and I really didn't want to get mean.
My daughter likes glasses so she grabbed a pair to try on & I was managing the situation & she rudely kept telling me she can't do that... my child is a 3 year old... not a nuisance... and she's worn glasses before.
Whole vibe was off. I let her know I couldn't find the physical insurance card and I could pull it up... but I wasn't digging her attitude so I didn't even wanna go through the hassle but no worries... she kept reminding me I needed a physical card and to make sure it had the ID numbers on it... like idk if she thought I was stupid at this point or what.
Anyways, we decided she would just get a new prescription anyways. I was going to reschedule her appointment next month to this place but yea now I'm not so sure. I do not want to talk to that lady ever again.
Was in there earlier today and dealt with Colleen, who had zero customer service skills.
I walked into the store while she was typing away at the computer. I walked RIGHT passed her inches from touching her, I didn't even get a hello. I proceeded to rifle through the drawers and try on frames.
I could have walked out with a free pair of sunglasses and she would have been none the wiser.
I grab a pair and go to the counter and she still has yet to notice me. So I watch a tiktok to pass the time until she DOES notice me. Finally she turns her head to ask if I need something to which I respond "yeah, I'm here to make a purchase."
She woddles on over and proceeded to ask me a multiple more times what I need to which I continue to to respond "I want to make a purchase"
She asks "glasses?" Irritated by her lack of customer service already and by the question of if I'm there to buy glasses in store with nothing BUT glasses on the shelves.
I respond "what else do you sell in here? Yes!"
Finally she started doing her job and talking to me about ordering the glasses. I give my prescription information and then she tells me the price.
To which I respond "Options?" These glasses are wrap arounds so I can keep wind out of my eyes when on my motorcycle. I had a pair of wrap arounds years ago that fogged up almost immediately every ride. So, I asked if they were anti fog. All she said was "I don't know."
She gave me no options of any kind. No customer service of any kind. So I just grabbed my prescription and stormed out saying I'll be back later to talk to someone smarter.
Ting Liu is the O.D. there and I have nothing but great things to say.
First I was seen on time
Second she was thorough and actually found a better prescription to fit my needs.
Third she didn't try to up-sale me with anything.
Fourth her knowledge and professionalism was above any place I've ever been too.
I could keep going but I just want everyone to know I have no affiliation with anybody who works there. Overall the best experience I've had regarding optometry.
Dr. Liu is great, *but be careful of the technicians*
Had an eye appointment last week. Everything was fine, the doctor was very professional. Then she handed me off to her technician, and that's where the problem started. I had to schedule a follow-up appointment. This girl quotes me a price for a years supply of contacts, then for new lenses for my glasses. Comes out to about $200 each (they don't accept my insurance) but she tells me if I bring the frames down for my follow-up, I can save 20% on one by buying both the contacts and lenses at the same time.
Here I am a week later. Sitting with a different technician (one from last week sitting right next to her) telling me that I can only get 20% off a complete set, meaning frames, lenses, and contacts. First technician verifies. When I complained saying that was never the arrangement, I'm told "She's in training." And offered no other explanation or compensation.
So yeah, my fault for getting my eyes checked at a Walmart. But I feel bad for Dr. Liu, she deserves better help than this.
Get any "deals" or "discounts" in writing.
Or do what I should have done and go to a legit eye doctor, not just the closest and most convenient to you.
I bought these glasses this January so basically six months ago and the lenses are all scratched and smudged. I was surprised because this never happened to me before with my other glasses. This was the first time that I ever bought glasses from Walmart. I was not informed by their technicians that because my glasses had an anti-reflective coating that I should buy their products to clean it because then obviously I would have bought their products. I also wasn't informed that I shouldn't use alcohol which was in the lens cleaner wipes that I had from Costco that obviously scratched the lenses. Anyway, just a warning to others if you do get the anti-reflective coating make sure to purchase their products and they don't have any type of warranty on the lenses so it's probably better just to go elsewhere because most eyeglass stores offer a year warranty plus I really don't feel like they were informative and helpful but at the time I was purchasing the glasses I was in a rush because I needed them in order to pass my driving test.

Recently had an eye exam and purchased glasses from this location. The experience was perfect! The Manager, Rob, and the entire staff were professionals from A to Z!!!! The Doctor was great and I love my frames and lenses! A great experience all the way around! 5 STARS!!! KEEP IT UP!!!!
