Delaney EyeCare

Dr Delaney is a crook. After having my eye exam, they were trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. I have, Davis Vision insurance, and my classes were covered. They refused to bill my insurance. They were trying to charge me $300 out-of-pocket, even though I had coverage. I contacted Davis Vision while in their office and the Insurance representative verified my Coverage. While I was still on the phone, Dr Delaney freaked out, told me to leave or he would call the police on me. I was completely shocked. What??? Call the police on me because I'm asking why you're not billing my insurance, and trying to rip me off? Needless to say, I took back my own lenses that I was providing, and left immediately. I felt like I was at a sleazy car dealer. They're extremely dishonest and try to upsell you on everything. I would not recommend going there, whatsoever.

I've been coming here for glasses and contacts since I was a kid and they have never done me wrong. Dr. Delaney knows exactly what he is doing, and all my appointments have run smoothly and efficiently. The only problem I have ever had was ordering contacts off their website, but Dr. Delaney's son Patrick fixed that in 5 minutes flat after I left them a voicemail! I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else for eye care. It takes a lot for a business to get a 5 star review from me, but these guys have earned it hands down.

Excellent Care!!! Dr. Delaney is very thorough with his examination. I went to a common eye exam center and they couldn't get my eye glass prescription correct, after giving them 4 chances to fix their mistakes I concluded that i needed someone who had more experience, I wasn't sure where to go or who to trust with something as significant as my vision. A family member recommended Dr Delaney , that was the best decision I ever made. Dr Delaney and his staff are friendly and courteous, the turn around time from appointment to receiving my glasses was adequate (what I expected) about a week. I am very thankful for the recommendation, I will not go anywhere else. Thank you Delaney Eye Care

We have been going to Dr Delaney for years and he is top notch. He has comprehensive tests to make sure nothing gets overkill.

They were extremely helpful when I accidentally broke my glasses. They ordered lenses on a Thursday night to fit into an older pair of glasses. They had them ready Saturday morning, they even opened on Saturday morning (their day off) so I could pick them up. This allowed me to leave on a trip the next Monday with an unbroken pair of glasses. Great service!

Went here with my girlfriend for an eye exam because she never had one and wanted to make sure her eyes were working properly. The eye doctor was not very pleasurable to deal with but it was no big deal. The lady working in the front was very friendly and nice so that made up for it. After the eye exam it was determined that my girlfriend would need glasses and she picked out the ones she wanted and everything was fine. The front lady said the glasses have been coming in quick lately and to expect them to come in about a week or so. So after 13 days we called to check in on her glasses since we had not heard anything. The eye doctor was the one who answered the call and was so rude! We told him what the lady in the front had said and he told us there was no way she said that and thats not believable as if we were lying. It wasnt even like we were trying to press the situation about the glasses not being there yet we were literally just checking in on them. He was super rude and overall the enitre experience was not enjoyable would not recommend this eye care facility.

Delaney EyeCare provides personal, professional care; they don't just sell you new glasses. I've been seeing Dr. Delaney for eye care since he took over the practice of Dr. Keeport over 20 years ago. (779-2020 is easy to remember.) I was particularly happy with Delaney EyeCare when his associate Amy came to the practice. With a growing family and the need to live closer to home, Amy left and was replaced by Linda, who remembered me from when Dr. Delaney was located in Mt. Penn! I mention this because people's lives change, and the lives and families of his associates are important to Dr. Delaney. At times, my employer required me to see someone else for safety glasses, or purchase them from a specific supplier. Delaney EyeCare always worked with me, regardless of where I got my glasses, or whether I wanted to use my existing frames and just got lenses. When I did have to see another optometrist I noticed one thing - they simply prescribed glasses for me. Dr. Delaney, on the other hand, was interested in the health of my eyes. He referred me to a medical doctor for detached vitreous after he recognized the condition from a regular checkup. Over the years he called attention to other health problems; doctor Delaney is carefully watching the slow progression of cataracts for me. At 72 years old it is just another thing that bears attention. The first doctor appointment I made after suffering a debilitating stroke was with Delaney EyeCare; a stroke almost always changes your vision. I had glasses from Delaney EyeCare that were not satisfactory only once in 25 years. Delaney EyeCare reordered them at no cost to me. I'm going to ask Linda about Amy since Amy left the practice about five years ago. You can't get great personal service from a business without caring about the owner and the employees. I'm not looking forward to the day when doctor Delaney retires. People don't seem to understand the importance of finding a competent, caring practice and sticking with them. The practice is a solid five stars in every way.

My family went here for years. Everyone of our frames did not last the year or two they needed to. Thursday my mother took my daughter to them to have a screw replaced in her 2 month old frames. It was an emergency fix because she leaves for music camp today. They sent her away saying they had no time for her. I called and spent 20 minutes(it would have been less time to put a screw in) on the phone with the Dr. who was rude to me and asking me what do you want me to do about it? He insisted I bring it in friday. I tried to explain I work and have nobody to pick them up. His final answer.....IT SUCKS TO BE YOU. Never going back, they lost 4 customers Thursday.
