Dr. Alurkar needs to go through anger management therapy. As a patient who was diagnosed with CRVO, he immediately wanted to inject into my eye ball which, for anyone hearing that kind of diagnosis for the first time would be scary. Instead of showing empathy, he started mocking me by saying shall I get the nurse (referring to her as sweetie) to hold your hand? When I said no to the injection on the same visit, stating I have no one to drive me, he got mad and started throwing around his instruments. He has no compassion for patients.

I did this once already. Dr. AJ and staff do well. The wait to start treatment is longer than I'd like it to be but....everyone works to make the patient comfortable, Dr is willing to answer questions, he gives me Eylea shot every 3 months and the only negative and it's a big one is the lack of parking.
