Dr. Hawley is extremely thorough! He takes his time and explains everything in great detail. I have been going to this optometrist for years now and will not even consider going anywhere else. They don't act like other chains where they get you in and get you out! They truly care and take their time! Also, I'd like to give a huge shout out to Tammy and Jennifer! They are new since my last visit and they are a wonderful asset to that office! Jennifer called me to remind me about my upcoming appointment and was extremely courteous on the phone! Tammy was there during my appointment and is extremely personable and helpful with picking out frames! Just an all in all wonderful experience with great people! If you are sick of being treated like a number, give this place a try! Truly personable individuals that take their time

I visited this eye doctor twice and arrived early both times, with all paperwork done online as requested. Unfortunately, the doctor's attitude during the first visit was unfriendly and lacked proper explanations, which made the experience uncomfortable. On my second visit, there was a mix-up with my contacts, and although the doctor was a bit nicer by the end, the overall interaction still felt lacking in customer care. The front staff was great (Tammy and Jennifer), but the doctor's attitude and service left much to be desired.

In this day and age, where health care can make you feel like another "number" in a line-up, I very much appreciate Dr. Hawley's approach to patient care. He was thorough, engaging, and very competent. I would recommend Dr. Hawley for any and all eye care needs!

The doctor is a good man, but unfortunately it seems the customer service isnt at industry standard. Convenient location. Small shop. Often delayed responses, or answering machines. They have never failed to deliver, but unfortunately in an era where technology often allows rapid response times, supporting local comes at cost here.

Dr Hawley was great! He was patient and kind and explained everything to me. His 2 ladies out front were funny and thorough and let me take my time picking out frames. I would highly recommend this place! Made going to the eye dr very stress free :)

I am not from this area just visiting. I was having problems with one eye and just stopped in. The Doc fit me in and figured out what was up with my eye and had the prescription on hand. Great service, everyone was helpful and nice!

This is an update. The doctor I thought was very thorough and informative last a July however apon loosing my glasses and having and insurance that cover is 1 time in the course of the year going through this place to get that taken care of is a nightmare that seems to have no end. Whomever the receptionist is now has no interest or intention of doing her job on any way. Is very Lazy and very rude. She refuses day after day to make a simple phone call to the insurance company to give the information they stated needs to be provided and has asked me continuously to do her job for her. Get a paper faxed to her, make the call, what do they need? Even after having a woman from my insurance company call while I was on the line to tell her this was covered and they needed to call Davis vision to give necessary information and she could not do it nor could I, the providers office has to do it. Well now she lies and states they told her when they called nothing was covered, I was on the line at the same time so that's not true. She says well we are very busy. I've been calling for a week constantly. I even got them the number which I was told they can see through my file in their system and still she continues to act like she wasn't given all the information and then some to simply do her job. Like making a 2 minute phone call and answering the questions they ask is going to kill her. She tells me the doctor will give me 30% off. Is this a ploy to get me to spend more money? It's literally covered! I know because I called and spoke to them myself. Why is this a problem?? I will never use this company/office again going further they just lost a client. Including all of my children and anyone I know. I've been in this office and it's never overly crowded or crowded at all they are in no way this busy. They need to hire a receptionist willing to do her job. This is sad and the poorest of customer service. Do not recommend!! Also it's not the same woman who was there last year. Extremely disappointing. If so could give 0 stars I would Very informative and thorough Doctor. Willing to explain to you in detail and very friendly staff. I wasn't sure when trying to find a new place, but I'm so happy we gave this one a try.

The doctor is very thorough as he learned from my my other retired eye Dr Davis. I used to like this place but after my last experience I haven't been back. Dr Hawley was billing my medical. I asked him to bill my vision. He said he has to bill my medical insurance because I had an eye injury years ago, even though this was a regular yearly exam. They had all my medical insurance and vision insurance info. Well had my exam. Paid my copay etc. A few weeks later I get a bill for over $100 saying my medical won't pay for it because they are out of network and because it wasn't medically necessary for a regular eye exam. I called and said bill my vision plan because I am not paying this. They haven't billed my vision and I haven't paid them. It's not my responsibility that they billed wrong. I told them up front that I would not pay if my medical didn't cover it. He bills medical cause they pay more! His loss not mine.
