The Eye Center of Central PA - Lewisburg

Today I had my appointment at the eye center. I was very satisfied with every person I came in contact with. With visit to check in I was greeted with a very personable and capable person. Very pleased how simple everything was. I was then with a very capable young man who reviewed my previous and present information. With each of these people they were very friendly and capable and took time if I had questions. Next I was put in the exam room. There was a nurse there and then the doctor came in. They were very professional and made sure I was aware of what they were doing and put me at ease. I am very impressed how smoothly this appointment went and how if I had questions they were answered right away. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and being so caring and kind. I am very pleased whenever I have an appointment. Thank you for your professionalism and making things easy.

Everybody from the front desk to everyone we saw was very pleasant helpful I would highly recommend that office to anybody. Denelle was extremely awesome. Don't like doctor visits too much but I absolutely loved going there.

my son was referred here from the emergency room. he came home cross-eyed randomly out of the blue, and after being seen in the ER we were referred there at 8 am the following morning. i arrived a few minutes late because we had a late night at the ER and found out we didn't technically have an appointment. not to worry! this entire staff was so amazing, helpful, and accommodating. i cannot speak highly enough of dana, the front desk receptionist, and dr. rachel fritz, who somehow realigned her schedule to see my son that morning. turns out, he is far-sighted and his eye muscles were causing his eyes to cross as they worked to hard to have him focus up-close. the nurse who worked with my son before dr. fritz was also amazing- 10/10. he is only 4, so he'd never had an eye exam, and he was a little nervous. dr. fritz and her nurse (i wish i could remember her name!) entertained him and encouraged him during his exam. the nurse also reassured me that i was doing a great job as a mom by bringing him in and getting him evaluated. dr. fritz so nicely explained everything to me on a sleep-deprived brain and allowed me to record what she was saying so i could share with my husband. so thank you, dana (who took excellent care of a frazzled mom), the most amazing and straightforward and caring nurse, and dr. fritz. i am so so relieved and grateful to you all for helping us out despite not being scheduled! thank you, thank you. 5 star service!

Dr Onishi is wonderful. Knowledgeable. Explains everything thoroughly, Answers questions. I never feel rushed. The assistants who do the eye test and take scans are all friendly and competent. Well run office-never wait more than a few minutes. Highly recommend.

This was my return visit after two weeks. Another great experience. Even though they were busy,I was checked in very quickly and was back in the eye exam room before my scheduled appointment time. The tech was very friendly. Dr. Jarrett was thorough and efficient. I was checked out quickly and sent over to the area to purchase eyeglasses. They looked up my insurance information so I knew what was covered. They were helpful and friendly. I purchased a pair of eye glasses. No concerns.

Dr. Hartzell is very good at explaining conditions and procedures. Yesterday I had a reaction to an eye drop, and PA Danielle Apuzzio was able to work me in to her schedule. She is brilliant and figured out how to replace my post-cataract eye drops with something that does not cause a negative reaction.

The Eye Center visit after having the Cataract surgery has been excellent! However, today I went to have my eyes checked for glasses that I previously used for better sight. The previous lenses needed changed and when I was told of the price for the new lenses, $525.00, I articulated to the individual if I was purchasing the Washington Monument!

I always feel confident in the doctors at the eye center. Dr. Hartzell did my cataract surgery. I cannot believe how clear my sight is. I totally believe the service is at the Eye Center is topnotch!
