Excellent experience from start to finish. Scheduling online was simple, with lots of appointment times available. I received helpful email and text reminders, and their website is easy to use. I was seen right at my appointment time--no waiting. The staff was friendly, organized, and clearly knew what they were doing. Dr. Vigdal explained everything clearly and gave me a straightforward summary of my eye health. The exam was very thorough, including pressure testing, glaucoma and macular degeneration screening, dry eye evaluation, and a detailed retinal scan without needing dilation drops--which was a big plus. Buying glasses was easy and stress-free. Patrick made it clear that I could choose frames fully covered by insurance, and there was absolutely no pressure to upgrade or spend more. Professional, efficient, and honest. I'll definitely be back.

I was helped by Jesse who was very helpful and informative. Normally it takes me a very long time to find a frame I like but he made it easy. He was honest and went over prices with me so I could keep track. The doctor is always a delight too

I had recently called this location to confirm the status of my eyeglasses and contacts and to ask a question. Looking at the hours, I know they closed at 3 pm on a Saturday. I had called in about 4 minutes before they had closed, and had gotten hung up on. So I called a second time. The phone rang for about 15 seconds, then I got hung up on again. Is this how My Eye Dr. in Media treats their patients? Being hung up on twice? It had been a while since my order was processed, and I wanted to confirm whether my contacts and eyeglasses were in. I did not hear anything back, and my online portal said that there was a delay and to call the office. Maybe they need to notify their patients that they stop answering phone calls at 2:55 pm instead of the posted business hours until 3 pm on Saturdays. Is this how all patients are treated when they call into this business?

As soon as I walked through the door the experience was a pleasure. The tech took me in the back she was professional and friendly. Then I met Dr Vigdal. my exam went smoothly she took the time to answer my questions. She is truly the best eye Dr that I've been too in a long time. Then I met Patrick He is truly an amazing person. Thanks for all you help and understanding. See ya all again soon.

Dr. Vigdal, Patrick & the entire staff are wonderful! Dr. Vigdal took her time to explain any changes in our vision & make sure our glasses were exactly what we needed. She also answered any & all questions we had. We didn't feel rushed during any if the process. Patrick was wonderful helping us all pick out frames that suited us the best. Everyone was friendly & inviting. We highly recommend this location!

First, let me say that this review has nothing to do with Dr. Vigdal, she is great and I like seeing her for my exams. The 2-star rating would be for the gentlemen working in the glasses section who were extremely pushy about me picking out glasses from them, even after I stated twice that I was not ready to purchase glasses yet. There were two men that seemed to have the attitude that "you're not leaving until you buy glasses from us". Then when I finally gave in and bought glasses, I'm pretty certain that I overpaid for them because I think they added a more expensive anti-reflective treatment that I didn't want. If the staff working in the glasses section are going to be extremely pushy and borderline rude, then I probably won't return to Myeyedr.

Had a new patient visit to MyEyeDr. in Media, PA and I was impressed with the staff and Dr. Tanya Vigdal. I was seen on time and had a complete work-up. I've never worn glasses or contacts but as I'm approaching mid-40's, and after a complete eye exam, I learned that I have astigmatism and that I would benefit from glasses while driving or watching something further away. Dr. Vigdal spent an adequate amount of time with me as I could tell she cares about her patients, rather than just trying to upsell or prescribe something that's unnecessary. She took time to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend this practice.

Updated after picking up my glasses to 1 star. The gentleman behind the counter can guess why. Dr. Vigdal is great, but I didn't appreciate being told I should have brought my copay for the eye imaging. I declined the imaging and being dilated this year, which is my right, and was basically shamed by the technician and the doctor. It's fine to say you recommend it, but when I have repeatedly made it clear I did it last year and do not want to do it this time, they need to respect that. We will have to find a new eye doctor, which is a bummer since my whole family has been going to this location for a couple of years.
