I used to love this place, but because it's so hard to get an appointment anymore because they are 2 months plus out for appointments. Apparently, they don't care about the families that have been coming there for years. Told me that a lot of eye doctors retired and they are getting more and more patients. Normally, I would get an appointment around the same time as last year.

Dr. Whitesel is great, however two years in a row the receptionist "forgot" to place the contact order after the eye exam. This year we were assured that the contact order was placed but come to find out it wasn't. Not only did we get charged our contact lens exam copay but also, you are forced to have a mandatory exam to be done at this location with a $70 fee to obtain contacts. This "computerized" exam is nonnegotiable and not covered by insurance.

Dr Whitwell himself was great. But the optical side of the business is bad. They are rude and try to force you into buying a $49 warranty. I have had glasses for over 30 years now I always pay extra for scratch and glare resistant lenses. Anywhere else you get that the lenses were covered for 2 years. NOT HERE frames always had a 1 year warranty everywhere else NOT HERE. You have to pay MORE out of pocket just to get anything covered. Go elsewhere I am
