I've been here three times now, with an eye issue that other doctors had failed to diagnose. I now have a diagnosis and a treatment. Yes, there's some wait time in the office, which I attribute to people getting examined, dilated, examined some more. Normal eye dr stuff. But everyone here has been nice. And today, when I was having eye pain and I was desperate for relief, they squeezed me in and finally I have answers. I'm so grateful, and I highly recommend this practice!

If I could leave a zero I would. I recently had a significant medical event that effected my Vision, once it returned to normal my primary care physician recommended I receive a dilated retinol exam before I could return to work as a career firefighter. During the exam I mentioned that I needed a form and possibly a letter of clearance if the exam proved that my vision had returned to normal, wich according to the doctor it had. I do not understand why the entire staff feels the need to be so rude and condescending . I have been involved in the medical feild and first responder feild for almost 20 years , so I understand what is required and try to be as friendlyas possible. After the exam I was told to return the following week to pick up the required documents, wich I did, and was told very rudely they needed more time. Fast forward over two months later and many rude phone calls and visits later, I was told they do not keep medical records, wich seems very illegal and refused even to write something on an official letterhead, so I left with notes scribbled on a sheet of paper without even the doctor's name on it. Honestly do not trust your eyes to these miserable people find somewhere else.

I don't appreciate how rude the staff was here. Never in my wildest dreams did I think my mother would be told to leave by the nurse because her perfume was strong. She waited months for her appointment and waited in the waiting room after filling out the paperwork just to be told to leave by the nurse because her perfume to strong then had the nerve to say make an appointment for another day. No she will not make an appointment, I don't want to say anything negative about the Dr but the nurse is definitely not a good representation of the office.

I was referred here because of cataracts. I found all the doctors and staff very nice and didn't have a single issue with anyone. Had both eyes done 3 weeks apart and my vision is amazing. Yes it took me awhile to get an appointment but that is with any specialty. Extremely happy with my experience.

The doctors and staff at Tri State Eye are awesome. They are educated, compassionate and truly wonderful to work with. I haven't seen this well for over 65 years! Highly recommend and will miss interacting with the staff when my eyes have healed from the cataract surgery!

I don't know what office the people who gave negative reviews went to, but it sure doesn't seem like this one. I had both cataracts done by Dr. Palydowicz, one of the top cataract surgeons in our regions and, frankly, anywhere. I chose Milford because I was able to get an appointment far more quickly than the Middletown office which is closer to me. My visits in included the evaluation visit, the prep visit and, of course, the follow-up after the surgery. I found everyone from the front desk to the support staff to the physicians pleasant, efficient, polite and accommodating. To be offended that masks are required to be worn in an office that caters to a primarily older crowd just shows how sensitive they are to the well-being of their patients. Do you really think the staff enjoys wearing the masks the entire day? We patients are only there about an hour. Not being told they were going to be dilated? It's an ophthalmic office; they dilate. Please. Not seeing the surgeon? Cataract offices all seem to run the same way; they have opthamologists ... you know, trained specialists...who do the pre-op examinations, measurements and instructions and then you meet the surgeon for a few minutes sometime before surgery and for a minute or two after. As a matter of fact, when I first actually met Dr. Palydowicz, he came into the room, dropped his mask and said "You might as well see who will be doing the surgery", asked if I had any questions (I didn't) and left. As to the wait time for an appointment, I'd be leery of any cataract practice that wasn't booked up far in advance. It's hardly the fault of the surgeon that the demand for his or her services is so high. Cataracts are not emergency surgery; plan accordingly. The same Dr. Ross so villfied in one review was the fellow I saw before in my immediate follow-up visit and in my one year exam. Very nice, affable and reassuring. He explained that he is now my doctor for the practice. The bottom line is that I highly recommend them for cataracts; there is no better practice. In the many visits I had there , I never saw an untoward interaction with any patients and would expect them to be exceptional for regaular ophthalmic care as well.

I developed a really painful and bad inflammation in my right eye suddenly and couldn't really see well out of my right eye. I had to fix it immediately in order not lose my job. My girlfriend called around a bunch of places but could not get an appointment anywhere. They fortunately squeezed me in there the same day. Dr. Haggerty took a look, diagnosed the situation, gave me instructions and called in multiple eye drops prescriptions to the pharmacy. I quickly got on the road to recovery and did not miss any more work. I also saw Dr Ross on the follow-ups that he informed me that my irisitis was a result of autoimmune problems which I had no idea but was no surprise to me. So I decided to make an appointment for blood tests with my doctor. Both of the eye doctors I saw there seemed very intelligent and clever. I saw a lot of negative reviews on the website. Basically comments about people not liking the protocol of wearing masks and coming in without any kind of perfume smells. Also people saying that the secretaries were rude or something. I myself do not have sensitive feelings. I enjoy being able to see too much to worry about small things. If you really value your eyesight above everything else then this is the place to go.

I have been a nurse for over 30 years. I recently took one of my patients who is in a wheelchair here. Front dest lady was extremely rude. The assistant who brought my client in to the room was horrible. My patient was an 86 year old man who has some trouble transferring from wheelchair to chair. She aggressively told him if he cant transfer he cant be seen offered no help and stood there with an attitude. Dr was ok. I was also told over the phone we will be seeing surgeon day of appointment we just seen regular Dr. I question front dest lady about this and was told she answer the phone most of the time and would not have told me that. She was on speaker where three other people heard conversation. She proceeded to shrug her shoulders and was like oh well. Office staff definitely in the wrong business. I wouldn't recommend or return to this office. Shameful
