We came to Ben to get eyeglasses. The old pair of eyeglasses did not transition well! The glasses Ben recommended are great. Thank you so much for all the curiosity and help!!!!

Ben Domiano and his team have always Been great. But more importantly getting good progressive lens glasses that fit right is no easy task and this place has never failed me. As a side bar; when I had my sunglass clip blow off during a motorcycle ride and getting run over by a few cars ( I have the I-green frames ) Ben tried to fix them and was unsuccessful "it did not meet his quality requirements" So they searched for 9 months tell they found me a replacement. That's commitment !... and that's why I'm writing this review. Thanks again Ben

Love this place. Bet place for eye exam. I been going to them since I was a kid before Ben's dad passed away. Love Jim and Denise they are wonderful wonderful people. Best eye place ever. Love you guys. If you need glasses or contacts and fresh eye exam this is your Staff to go to. Love Nikki

I was SO happy that my new insurance policy had Ben Domiano Optical as an in-network provider, I couldn't wait to make an appointment! We had been customers of them for years, but after switching insurance, they were no longer a covered provider and we were stuck with either Walmart or Crystal Vision (both of which are sub-par to comparingly BDO) So after years of going to the (horrible) only options available, and being given the wrong prescriptions, wrong glasses and being way over charged for services, I was beyond ecstatic that we could return to Ben Dominao Optical! Denise is AMAZING! Talking to her to set up appointments is a breeze! She is so nice, and very personable. The doctors are very professional and know what they are doing for sure! And because we are living in unprecedented times due to COVID-19, I was very impressed with the precautions the office has taken in being extra cautious, taking the extra steps to sanitize, and even setting it up so that everything is by appointment only - that way they are limiting the number of patients who are in the building at the same time. It was very reassuring during this time. Highly recommend Ben Dominao Optical for all of your vision needs!

I went back and forth if I wanted to leave a bad review or not and I decided to just so everyone would have the info if needed. My husband has been coming here for over 10 years and loves them, so of course when it was time for me I easily chose here. I was running a bit late and so called to tell them and they said it was fine. Got there 5 minutes later and another customer was outside because they locked the doors! We're both banging and no one answered. It was cold and so I left. They called me back, said they ALL had an emergency and asked for me to come in. I came and again I was locked outside while a woman sat at the desk on the phone. A nice man answered and let me in and I was never acknowledged and sat there awkwardly. Seen the eye doctor and she gave me a disposable pair of contacts and I felt great! I came out and a woman at the desk told me she needed $85 from me. I told her I didn't know I needed money upfront and that I'm sorry and could come in tomorrow to pay in full. This should have been the end of it, but she just kept going on. She really said she told me I needed money upfront, which I told her she did not. She rolled her eyes at me and said she did and turned around and asked the other woman "Didn't I tell her only her eye exam would be covered?" Uhm, not the same thing but ok. I finally had to snap at her that I didn't have it and what she wanted me to do. Well, wrong thing to say to her cause she demanded I take off my contacts and throw them in the garbage!! I kid you not, she really set the garbage pail right beside me. I felt so worthless and treated like dirt because I didn't have money upfront. I held back my tears and pleaded with her I would pay in full the next day and instead of throwing them in the garbage pail like she wanted she put them in a case and told me I could come get them tomorrow then. I wanted to leave, and I wanted to cry. But I'm incredibly nonconfrontational and so I just sucked it up. When it was time to pick out a pair of glasses I picked out a pair I liked and when I gave the pair to this same woman she exclaimed "Oh Vanessa! Fendi!? Really!?" She never even checked the price and immediately came out "to help me look for a pair." Even now when recalling how I was treated I feel so hurt and angry over it all. I was treated horribly, and after thinking long and hard about this place I WILL NEVER come here again. I am not one to ever use the race card, but can you come up with another explanation as to why I was treated so badly? Yeah, I can't either. Avoid this place.

They were rude. They made me pay upfront and get reimbursed by my insurance. When I requested my prescription, they gave me one for my glasses and not my contacts.. and no one ever told me they are two different things. I ended up ordering contacts elsewhere and getting the wrong prescription because of this. I heard bad things about this place and gave them a shot anyway and now I really regret it.

Very disatisfied eye exam okay glasses not so good they paid too much and can't use them took back once and still not good service poor person out front very uncaring
