The customer service number is the same number that refused to discuss the matter and hung up on me twice.
Wife and I both bought glasses. One pair was ordered incorrectly and they completely screwed up billing to our Medicare cards. After all the B.S. and a trip back to try and correct, they took off the price of one of ours tests as a discount for all the trouble they caused. Two months later we get a bill for the discount. Called the Pleasant Hills office to complain and I was hung up on twice. Said they are not going to discuss the issue. Two customers lost
Best customer service I've had in years! From the moment you step in the door, they're kind and welcoming. They'll help you with any registration needs and work with you and your insurance for payment. The doctor was the first optician I actually felt comfortable with. He was friendly, personable and confident. He explained exam results with ease. I felt well taken care of every step of the way! My contacts arrived at my home as promised and my glasses (using my own beloved frames) arrived at the office just days later. Not to mention, the entire facility was crisp and clean. 10/10!
Would not see me because I was 15 minutes late. No patients were in the office. The voice mail they left said the wrong address. They wanted me to come back the next day! Gas is expensive and they could have seen me when I arrived. If you're late and it's their fault or no one's fault doctors will still cancel your appointment like your time doesn't mean anything.
Had a great experience today With my eye exam and glasses purchase. My wife, my kids, and myself all go there and always have a good experience. Very helpful, prompt, and friendly. I also get way more information about my eye health than other places I've gone. They also have a really good selection of frames.
I have had my eyes examined at Vision Care / Dr. Aulicino for years, but I will now be looking for a different eye doctor. I had a problem with my Transition lenses and the fact they would become blurry. Driving, as I looked ahead, it was blurry, looking at the radio in my car, blurry yet again. I lift my glasses up, the radio is crisp as is the road in front of me. What is the common denominator? This happens on numerous occasions. I contact the doctor's office to set up a time that my glasses could be looked at and I am told by the staff on the phone that I am a diabetic. Really!!, I have known this for 40 years. She tells me I am do for a medical eye exam, so I make an appointment to get my eyes checked and hopefully get my glasses looked at as I feel there is a problem with the Transitions lenses., for example they become blurry in direct light when I place them on my dashboard. As I am sitting in the waiting area, I hear the Doctor's assistant tell him that someone took her parking place, however there is no assigned parking. She then tells him that there is a truck parked next to his Mercedes in the parking lot and they mention how small the parking space is next to his car. Well, it happens that it was my brand new Toyota Tacoma that was parked next to his vehicle. I parked it at the end of the lot because I did want anyone to scratch it.
So when I got into the exam room, I explained my call to his front desk and was told that she should not have said that, but when blood sugar rises it can effect the eye sight. I understand that, but it's not going to change in a split second from crisp to blurry looking close and far away. I also told him I used my old glasses after I began to have problems with my new glasses until they broke, I had no issues with the old glasses. And then with his assistant in the room, I brought up the conversation I overheard as I sat in the waiting area, very unprofessional. So needless to say, my current glasses were not looked at, but I was offered the opportunity to get another pair at a reduced rate. I have eye insurance and still paid a lot for my current glasses, so I could only imagine what the cost would have been for a new pair out of pocket without medical insurance. Through my insurance I am not due for new glasses until October, every two years. The Doctor looked at me and asked what I was going to do as October was a good distance off. I just told him I would deal with it, like I am currently handling the situation. At times I don't even use my glasses because of the situation with the blurry lenses. The doctor did verify that my prescription had changed, but it was not due to the diabetes.
In conclusion, I felt the staff was unprofessional. I am still dealing with the same issue I walked in there with today. How about checking the glasses, calling the manufacture, maybe they have a solution. It was nice of the staff to tell me I am a diabetic, I have had the disease for 40 some years, I understand all that, I deal with it daily, it is under control. And for the assistant to have a conversation about a "Truck" being parked next to the Doctors car in ear shot of the waiting room was inexcusable, I almost walked out at that point. I believe Dr. Aulicino is a competent doctor, but after my experience with his office, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am still upset about my experience and the lack of help I received from this office.

Change of pace ,I deleted my prior review for the fact that any business can have a rough day. The office workers kept in contact with me do to short staffed reschedule.
I met a young lady there she was kind and found me frames . She was a bit rushed possibly short staffed I could not say for sure. A couple comments were made that I did not care for. I might go up. Your try to give it another shot
I like this eye doctor. The staff are kind of weird. I did not order glasses and this would be the first time I did not. The lady helping me was not that helpful. I was looking for blue frames and she brings me brown. I was so annoyed I told her i will come back another time. So now I am wearing I the same glasses to who knows when
As you can see from other recent reviews some of the staff here is very rude. I have had several issues and finally decided to move my family of six to a different office. Very sad because the doctor himself is wonderful. He needs to hire a new assistant. She is destroying his reputation.
