Walmart Vision & Glasses

Very bad experience!! Gave the wrong appointment time to my husband (told us 5:40pm) came in at 5:33 early and they claimed appointment time was 5:20. Apologized (even though they gave wrong time) The lady gave us an annoyed stare and continued to be rude. Made us feel very unwelcome, the eye doctor didn't know any of my husband's history despite his regular yearly appointments, medical history etc. Husband broke his old frames and asked for other frames to fit lenses until new glasses came, they couldn't fix his frames because they weren't allowed to anymore!? And also couldn't put lenses in different frames even if the lenses fit because they weren't allowed to anymore!? Despite this they still removed a lens from old frame and then further broke the old glasses way beyond what they were. $70 appointment fee. Husband got his eyes dilated and then told to pick out frames even though he couldn't see anything after they dilated his eyes. I picked out his frames, $9 frames and turned down the 1 year warranty amount $21.99 because the warranty didn't do him any good on his old frames that were broken (still under warranty) and total cost for new glasses with $9 frames minus the warranty fee and $70 appointment fee was $192. We walked out because we feel like due to the fact that they told us the wrong appointment time and treated us unprofessionally, the price for just the glasses with $9 frames was overpriced and the looks the ladies kept giving each other made us feel like they were trying to scam us or teach us a lesson. They lost a customer of 6 years, very messed up situation. Won't ever go back.

Very friendly people. Almost no wait, they seem just busy enough to keep busy but that is probably just good scheduling, there always seems to be someone in there, just no crowd - a nice change from doctor's offices which always make you wait a long time. A few years ago they were actually closed when they were supposed to be open for us to pick up glasses, but that was apparently a mistake they fixed. Recently my spouse and I both got eye exams here. She also got her glasses there while I used the mail order Warby Parker for my very simple prescription.. The Walmart exam was obviously correct for both of us and hers was a very complex prescription. Both very satisfied with the service here.

Not even worth a star but it won't do no stars. Make sure you know exactly what you insurance company covers because they will Try to scam you.
