Always a great experience at Visionworks in Dickson City. The doctor that did my exam was kind, thorough, and answered all of my questions. Th associate assisting with ordering my glasses was kind and informative. She even let me know I could replace my current lenses with my new prescription! Customer service here is 10/10. I will continue coming here for my exams and frames!

The exam experience was perfectly fine and I do not mind a bit of a wait at all. However, I am a bit upset about the retinal screening. During the pre-exam, it was presented to me as if it was necessary and I was told that it was "included in the exam price", so I didn't question it (my mistake). I didn't look at my bill until I got home (again, my mistake) and that's when I saw it was an additional $35 on top of the $69 exam fee. After reading through the Visionworks website, I discovered that, while a helpful tool, the retinal screening is not mandatory. I really wish this was worded to me differently - I feel it is deceptive to say that it is included in the exam price when it really isn't. I wish I could've opted out. $35 may not seem like that much to some, but it's a grocery bill or a gas tank fill up to others (especially if you're already paying out of pocket w/o insurance). Part of this is on me for not paying enough attention but I'm disappointed nonetheless. Everyone was very kind and competent, but I will probably not come back.

The eye exam was thorough and results were easy to understand, thanks to the Doctor and Technician. The lady who serviced my glasses was very helpful- she even helped me pick out glasses that I loved but overlooked when initially choosing... thank goodness for her expertise. I've been going to this Visionworks for a long time, and I am never disappointed!

Kathy is very down to earth and knowledgeable. Not only did she help me pick out my glasses, but she got the best deal for me with my insurance and my discount card. Every time I come there, I like Kathy to help me because I know she knows what she's talking about. She is very friendly also. If there were people waiting, she would tell them someone will be with you shortly. She even got up, wants to find an associate to help another customer which I thought was awesome of her. She deserves a raise!

I have been a patient here for a long time. I always appreciate the fast and easy service. In and out with lots of nice glasses to choose from. I pay out of pocket and it's still affordable all things considered. Doc is always very nice as are the assistants and front desk staff.
