Formica Optical

I got a pair of glasses here. My lenses got scratched, so I paid $50 for both lenses while under warranty. I got the glasses back and noticed the one lens wasn't in the whole way because my frames were bent. I work a lot of hours and was waiting for a day off so I could take them up for them to fix them. Well at work my lens popped out and I couldn't find it! They want $120, for one new lens! If they would have straightened the frames before they put the lenses in, it would have never popped out! They said they will not stand behind them! My family has been going there for atleast 25 years! I'm done with them til they do something to make this right!

The Dr. and staff were very professional and friendly toward us. They care about their patient's needs and are very competent to assist them to improve their vision. My wife and I were recently first-time patients. The eye exams were excellent and the selection of frames were decent to choose from because they sell popular designer frames among others. Unfortunately, my first pair of lenses had a slight scuff on them. I attempted to let my left eye adjust to it for a few days without success, then contacted them immediately about the issue and Formica was willing to provide a new pair of lenses within just a few days at no cost! They care about their patients! I highly recommend them to you for your vision needs!

I came here a while ago to get new glasses and lenses. After 4 tries and 3 eye exams(last one he just grabbed some lenses and put them over my old glasses idk.) I wanted my money back (one of the tries it wasn't even my prescription, so I waited another week). They oblidged. I was not going to leave a review because while not doing rl the job they did make it right. But I found out reciently that I have Keratoconus and that because it's gone undiagnosed it's possibly progressed further than it would of if he had actually given me a good eye exam. The Dr I went to that told me I have it was actually surprised Formica didn't find it. But he should of also suspected it when the lenses didn't work. I honestly feel horrible saying this but he should of slowed down and thought about it, instead of saying I had "trouble eyes" that didn't like the machine. You never know when you might have an issue with your eyes and I am not gonna trust my eye health to this guy every again even though no where else will take my insurance. The staff was very nice except this one woman at the front desk who after I said these lenses aren't right snapped at me that I need to try it for a few weeks. When you get sick from lenses because the field of view is vastly different in both eyes... You know it's not right. I wasn't going to put a review because he gave me most of my money back. But with this coming to light about my eyes I feel scared for other people because you might not even know you have a problem. It sucks to because nowhere else will accept my insurance so I have to pay full price now.

The staff was down to earth and so pleasant . They made me feel like they cared about me and were helpful in helping me pick out a pair of glasses ! I highly recommend them !

I have gone here for years and have never had any issues. They've always had a friendly staff that are helpful and get you what you need. If you don't have an eye doctor I would recommend going here

Very pleasant experience. The front desk was very friendly and the doctor was amazing. Everything went quickly and smoothly. I would highly recommend.
