I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this eye doctor's office. The doctor was extremely nice, incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He paid great attention to detail, was very thorough, and never made me feel rushed at any point. It was genuinely a pleasurable visit from start to finish. The front desk staff were also wonderful--friendly, helpful, and truly a pleasure to talk to. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional care!

I have always enjoyed going to Dr. Osmanski because he is so kind and does a good job of checking my eyes. But I am now leaving 2 stars because of my experience with getting glasses. I needed glasses and the lady that was suppose to help me was not very pleasant at all. I finally picked out a frame and paid and was told it would be about 6 days for me to get them, not a problem. A couple of days later I get called they are ready. I go in and the very nice receptionist brings me my glasses and I cannot see out of them. Apparently they wrote the wrong strength on the paper which was not what the doctor ordered. Again, not a problem. Over a week and a half later, and after me making 2 phone calls they said they were in. I go in to get them and now get the not so nice lady. I open up the case and these were not the frames I originally picked out or the ones I tried on when I came in the first time to get them. My glasses had royal blue on the top, these are practically black with gold specks on the sides. Totally not for me. The lady said it's on paper those are what I ordered, I said no they are not and the funny thing is...the sample on the wall of what I picked out was no longer there. Dr. Osmanski came out of his office and asked what was the problem, he looked at the paper and said that's what you ordered. I said no it's not and when I came in when the lenses were wrong they were the right ones. I took them because I am just wearing them to watch tv but will never purchase glasses there again. And I have told my friends who go there what happened and they agreed. Also, just my opinion but someone pleasant should be assisting the people purchasing glasses, you have such pleasant women at the reception desk, it's not hard to get someone kind.

I've been seeing Dr. Osmanski for close to 40 years. I started seeing him in Chepachet when I could walk to his office as a teenager. Then, after a lapse (I moved out of state after college), I went to the North Providence office. He's very knowledgeable, always polite, and ready to help. When my mom was having some issues, he saw her and referred her to another doctor. Not long after, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was impacting her optical nerve. Without his referral, I'm not sure what would have happened. Another time, I gave myself a paper cut in my eye. I was given an appointment right away. When I saw him, he was shocked at the degree to which I cut my eye. He gave me meds and his cell phone number, "just in case." It should be noted, I knew his daughter was getting married that weekend, and he still gave me his number! Always above and beyond!

On top of being patient, Dr. Osmanski taught me a lot about maintenance for my frames and eye health

Wonderful doctor; helpful and patiently answers questions and explains clearly. He ensures you understand. Very personable too. At times one may feel anxious about the changes occurring, and Dr Osmanski will use himself as an example of one who can empathize because of similar experience. I recommend him highly if you are looking for an optometrist. His staff is always very professional.

I have been coming here about 8 years on the recommendation of a friend. The dr is wonderful. He is very thorough. I am a diabetic and he takes special care to make sure there isn't any diabetic damage to my eye. Great dr and practice.

I've been going to Dr. Osmanski's office for over 20 years. Never had a bad experience the last few years I've been seeing his son JAD and he's also very professional very nice understanding and very knowledgeable. I have a rare genetic eye disease and makes me feel very comfortable puts me at ease with the progression and not having to go all the way to Boston. Will continue to go here forever. Recommend it to anyone who needs a fantastic eye doctor as well as the office staff.

My daughter told me how wonderful Dr. John is so I was so looking forward to my appointment, and for appointments for my two sons eye checkups as well. However, the three office workers made so many mistakes and fabrications, and were even downright rude, that I'm afraid to switch to that office now! I've never seen such unprofessional bungling office workers in my life. I think I'll pass thank you.
