I had a great experience at Clemson Eye located in Anderson at the location on East Greenville Street. The entire staff was welcoming and professional from start to finish. The front desk team was friendly, efficient, and made the check-in process quick and easy. The assistants were also very kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality eye care and outstanding customer service.

Let me start by saying that the staff and doctor were wonderful. However, I looked at frames and ended up not purchasing because I wanted to shop around. I found a pair I liked better at LensCrafters that could be made that day. We sat down and ran my insurance only to find that my lens allowance was already used (I never purchased frames, lenses, or contacts). Called insurance and they said Clemson Eye had charged it. Greenville St loaction would not answer before it hit 5 oclock, so we rode to Fant. I was informed that MY INSURANCE WAS CHARGED FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S LENSES. And of course, the lab and other office are closed so there is nothing we can do. Incredibly infuriating after finally being able to see at a distance for the first time in my life and being so excited and finding frames in network and within budget at the 4th store we tried.

Clemson eye filed my insurance for an eye exam under my BCBS health insurance. They had my vision insurance information on file. After many phone calls and many months they turned it over to a collection agency. Then after even more calls they finally said they were wrong and filed it under VSP. But it had been almost 8 months so VSP refused to pay. I paid the bill out of pockets and I'm now looking for a new practice. You cannot get in touch with anyone at the office unless you go in. And when you do talk to someone they have no clue.

Had my cataract surgeries November 18 and December 2. Paid $10k for the Vivity implants. Left eye is great and clear at all vision distances. Right eye is fine for reading but is terribly blurry at all distances. So with two eyes open my distance vision is barely functional.
At my last appointment with Dr. Glaser on December 29, he was no help - basically befuddled since his diagnostics did not show a problem. I will call Clemson Eye next week for a follow up consult or perhaps I need to seek an outside consult.
At February 16 follow-up, Dr. Glaser was very engaged. He performed a laser realignment which seems to have really helped (morning after). Am also following recommendation to have eyelids adjusted. So my experience rating has been adjusted up to 4 stars.
