I have been going to this office for a number of years, believing that the eye doctor was prescribing the best brand of contact for me knowing that I had a desk job. I specifically remember him telling me that I no longer had to wear blue light glasses if I switched to the brand that he suggested. I didn't question it, which was naive on my part. This year, I decided to go somewhere else b/c this location was no longer convenient for me. Come to find out, they were prescribing the most expensive contacts out there and there was no need for me to be on the brand he suggested (we are talking about ~$1K for a year long supply). I'm so glad that I found another office that was not trying to upsell me anything.
I didn't have any issues making an appointment or with any of the staff members when I came in for my appointments. It's a nice office and the staff is friendly.

The doctors office itself is fine. It is only open three days a week so appointment times are limited. I am currently looking for a new eye doctor simply because the way the corporate system of ReVision works their appointment "reminders". If you schedule an appointment they will email, text, and call you multiple times to confirm your appointment - even if you try to "opt out" of those reminders they keep coming. The problem is that if you do not respond every time they send you a reminder they will cancel or reschedule your appointment or fine you $50. I am too busy to keep up with multiple confirmations for the same appointment! I just want to make an appointment and show up. I am fine with reminders, but why do they all have to be so threatening? When I talked to them about this they just said "we get lots of complaints about it but it's just corporate policy."

Dr. Stevens is the best ophthalmologist I've ever had; he is thorough, very informative and shows passions in his work. Best of all, the prices here are affordable. The Simpsonville/Greenville staff is friendly, approachable and efficient and I like working with them. I few years ago, that wasn't my experience and I was looking.for a new doctor. The transformation is remarkable.
