I had an infinitely better experience with the service at Upstate Eye Care compared to the other places. Dr. Boone and staff are totally accommodating, and Breanna made the fitting hassle free.

Great experience with Dr. Boone and the team! I've never used glasses before; Dr. Boone and the team did a great job of explaining things to me, and setting me up with affordable quality glasses. I went back for contact lenses (a separate exam/charge), and they were very helpful and patient with my learning to use them. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The office is clean and inviting. Pricing is straightforward and explained up front, and they work with most insurance/discount providers.

Dr. Boone and the staff are some of the nicest people you ever want to meet. They are also very knowledgeable and professional. The office is spacious, neat, and clean. The themed atmosphere is relaxing yet interesting. Dr. Boone is very personable and sincerely cares about you and your eye health. With patient's permission, he will pray for you and your vision. In my lifetime, I have gone to three optometrists and he is by far, the best.

I've been a patient here for years and won't go anywhere else. Dr Boone is wonderfully reassuring and gentle if you have any anxiety over eye exams. The staff are all very kind. The office is inviting, clean, and has a great selection of available frames. I never felt rushed, dismissed, or uncomfortable -- and I'm very twitchy about anything getting near my eyes. Over the years I've transitioned from glasses to contacts back to glasses and now back to contacts, always recommended according to my current lifestyle/budget needs. I really can't recommend Upstate enough, they are simply the best.

Best experience ever at an eye doctor. All of the staff are professional, accommodating, and friendly. Dr. Boone is so nice and genuine. He even asks if it is okay for him to pray for you after the eye exam! I will never see another eye doctor!

I have had the best experience at any doctor anywhere every time I have come in to this place ! I am not a fan of going to the doctor and there is some apprehension surrounding it for me, but the "bedside manner" and welcoming environment here makes me feel so calm and peaceful. I feel like I am at a family reunion, not a doctors' office. From Brittany at the front desk welcoming you with a warm smile and a genuine greeting, to the Bibles sitting on the tables and the worship music playing in the background, to the "wear a mask only if you want" policy, to Jennifer's confidence and peaceful, inviting personality in the first room, to Dr. Boone's humor and patience and conversation and offered prayer that makes you feel completely at ease... it is an incredible environment. Even Breanna and Nicole in the eyeglasses section will take their time and expertise fitting you to your perfect pair- such gems. But surely my favorite staff member at this office is Dr. Jonathan (Dr. Boone's 11 year old son)- he brings so much character and charm to the entire experience. Overall, every staff member goes the extra mile for you and you will be forever grateful you trusted this complete stranger's google review and walked in those doors!

I was traveling out of the country and had a contact rip and get lodged in my eye. I was in so much pain for days, but upon return Dr. Boone located it and expertly removed same-day, avoiding risk of corneal damage. THANK-YOU!!
