Greenwood Eye Clinic, P.A.

I was highly satisfied with this provider up until my son's scheduled appt this week. I scheduled the appt back in Oct alerting them that my insurance had changed & provided the name of my new insurance. Well they were unable to determine my specific dental insurance the day of the appt so I decided to call my plan directly. The call did take several minutes so of course after I provided the information they wanted to reschedule which was very inconsiderate considering my son was already missing time from school & I was missing time from work. My question is why wasn't this handled prior to his appt yet blame the patient by rescheduling. I decided to part ways with them altogether & find another provider which was very disappointing.

As for the physicians, they are fantastic. However, you try to make a payment or ask a question about insurance/billing, you are put on hold forever and usually are cut off. Very, very poor customer service!

Charged me 200$ plus whatever they punched Medicare for. Fake glasses. Fancy sunglasses that did not make one bit of difference in my vision. Plastic fake lenses for 200$!

Eye exam was fine and prompt. Tried calling in to make a payment and it took 30 min to get someone on the phone. This is unacceptable! Lady said they were busy? Hire more people. Its so frustrating when customer service is crappy. Looking for a new eye doctor for sure!

Horrible customer service. They refuse to file insurance with VSP that covers "Comprehensive" eye exam. Insisted that it had to filed under medical because cataracts are present (even though they are not causing issues - no need for surgery). In other words I now have a bill that i should not owe. Every other provider has filed under VSP.

Front staff was very friendly and efficient. I didn't have to wait in the lobby for more than 5 minutes. Dr. H was awesome. Very friendly and took her time to ensure she did a thorough exam. Ladies in the contact shop helped me to order a new prescription and even sent them directly to my house. Overall, I had a great experience. I highly recommend Greenwood Eye Clinic to anyone in the Greenwood vicinity.

Not a very good place to go. The receptionist at the front desk with the brown hair (should have got her name) is very rude. Will not suggest this eye doctor to no one

Great and caring place to have a eye doctor In the eye shop, there is a young blonde girl..sorry don't know her name, but she was so helpful in helping me pick out my glasses and which ones looked right on me.
