That level of reliability is rare and deeply appreciated. Dr. Shillings, is a thoughtful and skilled physician, supported by a professional, well-organized team. Dr. Hazelton has been my and my husband's opthamologist for approximately 15 years and has always taken excellent care of our eyes, eye problems and even surgeries. The staff and medical assistants are also excellent. Thank you for your great service!

I like the ophthalmologist for his expertise, counsel and surgical skills, but plan on waiting about 45-90 minutes past your appointment time to be seen by the doctor, even if your appointment is at the open of the day. Also, often no one answers their main line when you call and if you leave a message no one returns the call. The office manager doesn't even call back even when you leave word it's important.

The office is clean & comfortable. The staff is professional & accommodating. Dr Skillings answered my questions, checked my eyes and made recommendations for my care. You can't get better. My opinion! I definitely recommend them. SWR

Visited Coastal Eye Group a year ago. Wasn't sure what to expect after having a not so good experience at the practice I was frequenting the year before. My Optholmologist Dr. Skillings is a miracle worker. Highly experienced, extremely patient, and very tolerant, performed my very successful cataract surgery on both eyes. From being unable to see beyond my nose, I was back to 20/20 vision in a blink of an eye. He's currently overseeing my mild glaucoma condition. He's a master class. The supporting staff, Jen the receptionist, Brenda the assistant nurse, Kay the accounts manager, Ellen the surgical coordinator, and Kenzie the checkout specialist, are highly trained and experienced professionals. If I had to do it all over again, in this life or the next, Coastal Eye Group is the practice I would do it at.

My cataract surgery was performed by Dr Skillings at Coastal Eye Group. He was very caring and took the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. His skill and professionalism is outstanding. The whole process from my first consultation to last visit was a great experience. I highly recommend Dr. Skillings and his staff.
