America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I usually prefer private practice doctors offices all around, but my insurance options were limited so I went with Americas Best on a recommendation. This office is AWESOME! Shane & Dr. Chenarides were so nice, efficient and helpful! While they do have a great selection of frames, I'm happy with mine for the time being and there was absolutely no pressure to get new frames and I got a copy of my prescription with no issues. Love it here!

Its ok place nice enough people little weird. But anyways. How can you say your America's best. When all i need it the tint simply removed because I dont like it. And im told it will take 10 to 14 days cause they have to send them out. Its a simple process to remove the tint. Its just like tinting windows. How can no one there do it? Guess ill have to do it myself. Your not America's best if you have to ship out for a simple procedure

They canceled my appointment without notice to me then when I called to ask why my appointment disappeared from my account, I was placed on a fifteen minute hold which end with a new person picking up the phone. After explaining to him what was going on, I was informed I would not be able to reschedule my appointment even though I originally made my appointment weeks ago. Would not recommend and definitely will not be using them in the future.

I went in today with my daughter for her appointment and they could not locate my appointment even though I had the proper confirmation. And then the one lady literally stopped talking to me in the middle of me explaining to her I had an appointment to help somebody else. She was very rude. And then after about 10 minutes of them, not being able to do their job correctly and find my appointment they then told me that they don't see six-year-olds. Which I have done plenty of research and have even talked to people who have brought their child there and they do in fact the children they were just negligent and did not understand how to work their computer to find my Appointment. So not only did I miss work to take my child to the eye doctor, which is of course OK because she's my child but I miss Work for no reason because they could not find my appointment and lied about not taking children When there was in fact, another child there at the time, going to get an exam. Now I have to wait until the end of February for my daughter to be seen at America's best because they are the only place unfortunately that will take people right now.

For the second time I went to America's best the first time for my scheduled appointment. I waited an hour and a half and finally left. And for the second appointment, I got about 15 emails reminding me of my appointment when I arrived I was told I didn't have any insurance coverage for it so it would be out-of-pocket One would've thought that that information could've been shared before I made the trip in. They seem very disorganized and disrespectful of people's time.

Considering the total cost for 1 pair of glasses purchased at this location of America's best, I was a little disappointed with the service and quality of lenses overall. For example, after the visit with doctor and the ordering of my glasses, none of the documents, including the prescription, included the P.D., which is required if you want to order another set of eyeglasses anywhere else, or even if you used the Rx later at the same location. Very disappointing.

I went in on 1/30 with an external Rx that clearly stated the lens only required the 2.25 readers at the bottom and gradient tint. The sales rep (shane )kept referring to my prescription and single vision, after several times of correcting him, he stated that he has been doin this a long time and he knew what he was doing. OBVIOUSLY NOT. Because when the glasses came in the only solution was a refund. That would cause me to search for the glasses somewhere else. There was no other type of compensation mention. And the customer service, well that's a whole other conversation

the staff is nice, however the glasses lens quality is absolute crap. I've only been wearing my glasses for about 2 months and they're already scratched up and constantly get smudges on them. I've ordered glasses off of foreign sites and had better quality. "Americas Best" ok maybe when pigs fly.
