Very thorough eye exam. Nancy was great! Explained everything in detail as she was pre testing. Loved the photos and not having my eyes dilated. Greta was amazing helping me pick out my glasses- which I hate to do. I would definitely recommend the entire process from exam to the glasses. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful!

I was pleased with my experience. They took time and examined my eyes. I have been wearing contact lenses for 30 years. I simply needed an updated prescription and this visit was great!! I walked out with new contacts and placed an order for more to be delivered to my home.

My frame cracked after 6 months and I told them I thought it was a manufacturing problem. They sent them back and got me a new pair. Today I went to get my new frames adjusted and worked with a woman named Greta. She was so nice and very helpful.

Everyone was very helpful with my first time purchase of glasses and sunglasses. I received a very good eye exam and then got expert help picking out frames. All of the employees spent a great deal of time helping me with questions I had.

Very thorough and professional eye exam and frame fitting experience. My wait time to be taken was immediate. All the tests were completely explained and the associates could not have been more accommodating. Costs were actually a bit lower than I expected for the upgrades on the frames and lenses I wanted and I even qualified for a free Thanksgiving turkey for spending on the frames and lenses! What else can I say for a great experience!

This was my first time having an eye exam at this BJ's Carolina Forest/MB location. All the staff at BJ's Optical dept were very friendly n helpful upon greeting me before my scheduled appt. I came here primarily to purchase contact lenses that required a preliminary eye exam. Compared to my prior eye exams at another BJ's location n at other non BJ's retail locations in NY, it was a very unique eye exam experience that I was pretty impressed with that involved the remote interaction (via Zoom) of their Opthalmic Tech, Tina and their affiliated Ophthalmologist, Dr Ted Werblin. I primarily dealt with Nancy Dellamarggio who is one of BJ's PCC and a Optometric Technican, who was very nice n thorough, who performed all my required extensive preliminary eye tests (pressure, measurements, etc) before I met remotely with Tina n Dr Werblin to complete my exam. Tina performed my eye chart exam to determine my updated vision requirements n afterwards, I only briefly saw/spoke with Dr Werblin to go over all my prelim testing results and to authorize my completed contacts/eye glasses prescription. Even though this was my first time having a combo of an in-person and remote eye exam and something I'm not used to nor expected, overall, I was very surprisingly pleased with my experience and satisfaction with the care and handling by the entire optical team.

After what started off to be slightly unpleasant, I must say it turned around. Mostly due to the fact that I was at fault for the issue (somehow I was wearing 2 contacts and didn't know it) and they never once stopped providing excellent, kind and patient services to me. The technician and doctor are virtual but Ms. Nancy who is in person is wonderful. She is the perfect example of a true saint!
