To call the waiting time at this practice as borderline abusive is ridiculous... patients are getting their eyes dilated which I imagine varies from person to person. To plan an hour for this type of appointment is ridiculous -I clear my morning or afternoon. The care given at this office is excellent!

Dr.Carl Sloan and his most pleasant staff I have ever dealt with. Everyone from when you walk in that office to then seeing Dr. Carl Sloan I feel at ease. You all make me feel so welcoming and Dr.Carl is just super and very accurate. I am so grateful that I have Dr.Carl Sloan from Coastal Eye Group.

I never got to go into the office and meet the actual dr.'s. This review is based SOLEY on the way I was treated by the receptionist. I called to schedule an appt for my son (first time patient), I just wanted a simple eye exam and consultation with an issue he has been having with a weakend eye muscle. She was completely misunderstanding me no matter how many times I told her I wasn't calling to schedule any kind of surgery (which they don't do and I already knew this). I literally just wanted to schedule an eye exam and consultation and the receptionist was so rude and refused to schedule him saying I would need to go to MUSC or some craziness. I mean IF my son were to need surgery, wouldn't I need to have him first examined and referred? I finally just hung up because I couldn't get through to her and she was refusing to schedule an appointment for my son . I was referred to this office by two separate friends who said the dr's were amazing. Too bad my son will not get to be seen by them.

I went to the ER for a possible detached retina late on a Sunday night. The ER referred me to Dr. Sloan who met me at his office for emergency treatment. He was amazing!!

The intolerable long wait at this practice is borderline abusive. 2+ hours every visit. I could drive to Charleston and get treated faster.

Dr Sloan is the best however getting in b4 someone who's appt is after yours is up to Jacqueline ( lady at front).... my appt was 1:20....I signed in 1:10....gentleman ahead of me on paper signed for 1:30 appt....I mentioned this to her....she said...first come first serve...so I said ....thts not fair...I was ten minutes early....person b4 me was for 1:30....1:41...and I still sit here......and yes more people have come in and gone b4 me..... judge yourself....come I early...u will be able to leave early

It was half ass my b/p was high he still the surgery I still have clouds and poor vision

Fabulous ...Dr.Sloan is the greatest. Kay the receptionist is very helpful!
