Dunes Eye Care

This turned out to be most dishonest health care provider i have used, and I'm 73 years old. I have since read reviews from their time at their PA office before coming here and i now understand i should have read them before making appointment. Now they are trying to charge me for appointment of two years ago, saying they did not receive payment from insurance. I have Medicare and plan F through Blue cross. With this insurance you never pay anything. I have had had many procedures including hart surgery and never had to pay a penny. Since they were new i spoke with office mgr. and she told me they took this insurance and agreed my appointment would be no charge and now are billing me even after explaining situation. They were bad in PA and Now bad in Myrtle Beach. There are many eye care professionals here so i would highly recommend you look elsewhere. VERRY DISHONEST!

It's too bad, we really liked Dr. Orazio. We were there one year ago. Apparently we made an appointment for a year in advance. No reminder of any kind, no text, no email no phone call was given. Brittany swears that my husband confirmed, he said he didn't and showed me on his phone there was no such message. It's probably in the spam folder. I understand it's a curtesy BUT come on, really. All you send is a missed appointment fee???!!! I've called twice to talk to someone, no one returns my calls nor answers the phone. UPDATE: I finally did get a return message. Nowhere on their webpage does it mention any fees nor even a warning about fees for a missed appointment. I'm in business and I always give people one free pass bc life happens. Guess we will need to find a new doctor.

Absolutely one of the welcoming office I've had since leaving Charlotte. Fast and efficient and the best and most thorough exam I've had.

Dr Thomas D'Orazio and his entire office staff have taken great care of me since being referred for cataracts in both eyes. The entirety of both cataract surgeries conducted at Grande Dunes Surgery Center on the 6th and 27th of January 2025 was outstanding and the follow-ups were top notch as well. I am extremely satisfied with the experience and the Dr.

Dr D'Razio and his staff were excellent. He explained everything clearly,was very thorough and answered all my questions. Would definitely recommend.
