Dr. Mequio is an exceptional ophthalmologist. He performed my cataract surgery and I am very pleased with the results. He is a perceptive communicator who made me feel at ease. I received outstanding care. He is very patient with explaining and answering questions. I felt confident in his expertise. The office staff of Janee, Samantha, Tiffany, Stephanie, Clarissa, Melissa, Michele, Chancie and Brittany are lovely, efficient and kind ladies. They were always ready to help. I was a little worried going to an eye doctor. I'm getting older and worried about all the eye diseases. No need to worry going here at all. From the receptionist to the nurse to Dr. Mequio. They are all so professional and helpful. I have never felt so welcomed and at home as I did here. Super clean office and examining rooms. The eye test was very thorough and Dr. Mequio and his nurse explained everything they were doing. Recommend this place to everyone.

I just moved here, and was faced with a medical emergency. All my doctors are back home. I woke up, and could tell right away something was wrong with my left eye. After I Googled, Retina specialist near me, Dr Doering, appeared. I made an appointment. Staff was professional, and got me in to be seen the same day I called. The doctor told me that my retina detached from my eye in the center. He explained that there is no emergency to perform surgery right away. The nurse was informative and very helpful explaining what would happen step by step. Surgery was the following week. Today, I am ...15 days post op! My surgery was a success. The doctor did everything possible to save my vision. I can't imagine going through this without him. Highly recommend.

I have never been particularly comfortable with physicians in general, but from my first visit, Dr. Doering immediately put me at ease. His calm, professional manner and willingness to explain every detail of my condition and treatment plan helped me feel confident and cared for.
Before seeing Dr. Doering, I had been told by other doctors that the floaters in my eyes could not be eliminated.
