Steven J. Ferguson, OD

I made an appointment with Dr. Ferguson for a second opinion for my 3 year old son. He had been wearing glasses with bifocals already for approximately 6 months. The normal exam occurred prior to the Doctor coming into the room. When the doctor came in, he did not examine my sons eyes or ask questions about his current prescription. When I told him he was wearing bifocals currently he rudely stated "bifocals? What for?!" He proceeded to look at his computer and said we will get him in some glasses today and stormed out of the room without waiting for us to follow. The prescription he recommended was totally different than what he had been wearing for almost a year, which was a +4.00 in both lenses. Dr Ferguson gave my son a +2.25 in one lens and a +3.75 in the other without bifocals. My son would not leave his new glasses on so I took him back to his original Doctor whom examined him throughly and his prescription was still a +4.00 with bifocals. Overall I am upset with his carelessness regarding my 3 year old sons vision. He was very rude and seemed irritated the short time we spent with him. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone with a child needing vision correction!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dr. Ferguson was knowledgeable, professional, and ahead of the game on all of the latest technology. I highly recommend Dr. Ferguson and his team.
