Bartlett & Weaver Eye Clinic

I was recently visiting the Pierre area from out of state when I had an unexpected medical issue with one of my eyes. I stopped by the office unannounced and explained my problem. Seeing that I needed some help, Dr. Weaver and his staff graciously worked me in and took care of me as if I was one of their regular patients. They were so helpful, friendly, and ultimately took great care of me. If I lived in the area, they would be my "go to" for eye care.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Weaver is thorough in explaining what is going on with your eye sight. I always feel very well cared for.

Dr Weaver explains everything so well and is so thorough with his exams. Dori is also very pleasant in doing all the pre-tests.

Dr. Weaver is wonderful. He is very thorough and does a good job of explaining everything he is checking and why he is doing it. I highly recommend him to others.

My family and I went to the clinic for eye exams. We enjoyed Dr Mcdaniels who has now left the clinic abruptly. The charges us $1000 for our exams saying they don't take any insurance at the time of the visit and then a month later send us a bill for another $250 for some things we already paid for. We called the financial office and the girl was so rude and obnoxious. I asked her to cancel all remaining visits scheduled and she said "I'd love to". We will not be returning to this clinic again. I also ordered contacts 6 weeks ago and they never ordered them because they had questions. I called multiple times to speak with the contact lady to see when they were coming in and no phone calls were returned. I finally found out they never ordered them. Please don't waste your time on the rude and incompetent people working here. And now they refuse to release my son's prescription. Medical files hostage. I can't possible warn people any more about how rude and awful this place is.

I have been seeing Dr Bartlett for about 30 years. I now live about 200 miles away, but drive back to Pierre for eye care. He and his staff are top notch!!
