Have had great professional help from Em. When I had issues with my second pair of eyewear, she worked with me and finally we both agreed that the nosepieces just did not work for me and were uncomfortable. She quickly pulled out alternative glasses and I am looking forward to receiving them! Thanks Em!

My appointment was on time and very efficient. Dr. Haiar and Tori made the exam and choosing frames a easy and fun time. Thank you!

It'll be a year in October since I went here for my new glasses. When I went, I had spent a good 10-15 picking out frames I liked before my exam, in case they had to dilate me. After my exam, the girl proceeded to tell me every single frame I picked out "wouldn't work" for my prescription. Odd. Never heard that before. We probably spent another 30 minutes to an hour trying to find frames that "worked". I didn't love any of them or even really like them much but I was dying to get some new specs since I was already a year late on a new script. The prescription I received did not feel right after a week of me wearing them, so I called and let them know. When I would look anywhere but straight ahead, it was incredibly blurry and gave me motion sickness. I had to move my head to look around. Working on a computer all day, this did not work for me. So, I had to take time off of work, again, and find transportation, again, because my car was not working at the time. The girl told me my prescription was exactly what the optometrist wrote up and to "try them again" after I already wore them for a week straight and they never got better.... These were making me nauseas. I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and have never ever had an issue like this. It was then November when all of this happened, I had no transportation and the seasonal depression had already set in so I had no desire to argue or beg another grown adult to listen to me. I was already a year late to getting a new prescription due to not having insurance and am still wearing that same prescription for 3 years now. $500 and time from work I wasted trying to take care of my vision. I'm very excited to finally go to a new place and get a new prescription someplace else after all of this wasted time, now that my insurance will cover another exam. I especially can't wait to KEEP my old Coach frames and have them repaired! Which optics said if I wanted to keep my frames, they "weren't responsible for them". With all that being said, if you have all the time and money in the world to waste, you probably wouldn't have an issue with this place. If you are on a tight budget and don't have a lot of free time, I would absolutely not recommend Optics Downtown. I only went here because it was the closest to where I lived. The frame selection was also AWFUL. I hate writing bad reviews but the fact my hard earned money went down the drain and I had to suffer with tired eyes and old frames for another year, I had to share my terrible experience.

Dr Kollis is amazing!! And the ladies that were at the front desk were so nice and awesome! All are very helpful and make you feel at ease!!

We were in town for a vacation and my husbands glasses needed some work. We stopped in and Emily helped us out! Staff was very friendly! Would recommend

The Optics team was very attentive and gave explanations for the entire appointment process. Em W. was very sweet and made picking out a new pair of glasses a really fun experience. I can't wait for my new frames! Thank you!

I had an amazing experience with Emily! She was very kind and helped me pick out the perfect pair of glasses. The exam was done very nicely along with helping me set up a payment plan for my glasses . Definitely recommend them to anybody who is looking for a good company for their eyesight needs!.

Dropped in with my glasses and they were fixed in minutes. Super fast and friendly. Will be back.
