Just had a great experience at Visionworks in the mall! Shayla gave amazing customer service and thoroughly answered all of my questions about insurance and available options for frames and lenses. Very thankful for her help and will be back next time I need new glasses!

We went to the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls SD today to look at frames I was interested in and maybe making a purchase. But the store was closed when it was supposed to be open. Today is Saturday and I was at the mall for over an hour walking waiting for someone to show and open. It's 12:40 and I'm back home and called there twice and nobody answers the phone. It must be still closed. I take it there is only one person that works there and if they don't make it, the business is just closed. There was no sign posted that it was closed on a scheduled open day. Bummed we made a wasted trip and no explanation when calling the number There should probably be a backup employee. .

Had an eye appointment today and got there an hour early to look at frames. Two employees were working with customers. After 35 minutes, I was not greeted or acknowledge being in the store. Just because of that I canceled my appointment. I've been to Visionworks in Maplewood, MN and actually gave them a great Google review, but I couldn't do it here. At least acknowledge your customers when they come into the store and tell them someone will be right with you. Super disappointed.

Dr. Clarke did a great job. Visionworks did a great job. My complaint is the the lady working the counter for the Dr. Clarke. We have vision insurance and should have only been charged $20.00 each for our exam. She told us that the insurance won't pay for something so that me and my wife had to pay $30.00 each. I paid cash and she did not give us a receipt. Went back to request a receipt and now was told that we were only charged $20.00 each. Someone is putting cash in a hidden pocket. If you pay cash get a receipt right away. I thought it sounded weird because at another Visionworks we never had to pay extra.
