I underwent eye surgery at The Eye Foundation, Salem, and my experience was excellent from start to finish. Dr. Ashwin Segi sir is extremely humble, kind, and professional. He explained the procedure clearly, answered all my questions patiently, and made me feel very comfortable and confident throughout the treatment. The hospital environment is clean and well-organized, and the staff are polite, supportive, and caring. The surgery and post-operative care were handled very smoothly. I am truly thankful to Dr. Ashwin Segi and the entire Eye Foundation team for their dedication and care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality eye treatment.

i faced Very worst Experience here. waste of money and waste of time to me. i had visibility problem and went here on month of March 2025 . i explained my issues what am facing and they tested all eye check-up and said like no issues your vision is clear and am not satisfied so they allowed me to senior doctor on same day am not sure about the dr name but women dr. she also said you are perfect just wear one normal spectacles to wear for system and mobile usage but clearly i explained my issue with them and bought the spectacles there only and dr said to come after 1 month i didnt went because my first visit was not satisfied to me and also that spectacles also useless to me so i didnt went(they can ask me why you didnt come? my point of view" if you are not sure about the issue why did you refer the spectacles ?) as per the patient point they gave one solution but thats not satisfied to me but i faced same issue. because of this issue am not able to attend one exam properly. and i decide to visit dr Bejan Singh from nagercoil and December end 2025 i went that time also i faced the same issue only and he found the issue immediately (Issue is white letters , mostly 99% peoples will face this issue in 40+ now a days after 80's generation facing from 38+ also but mostly 40+ years it will come but my case i faced this issue in 35+ ) that dr found the issue immediately , there also i didnt accept because of previous experience he explained properly and request me to wear spectacles , and request me to do some eye exercise, and gave some food tips for healthy eyes.) and gave proper spectacles and now my issue solved. my point is why here senior dr atleast not able to find and tell the issue prior and ask me to come to checkup after 1 month? without proper issue identification why they prefer spectacles - in tis they can tell like thats for system and mobile use but i cant accept because i explain clearly what issue i faced thats the main reason i m not satisfied in Eye foundation hospital salem. and its worst experience to ME alone. Review from my own experience only not comparing other patients may be good to some others but to me not satisfied

Dr. Ashwin Segi is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. I visited with my mother for cataract and conjunctivitis (commonly called "Madras eye"), and he clearly explained the diagnosis and treatment options, patiently answering all my questions. The clinic was clean, the staff were polite, and my overall experience was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this doctor to others.

I recently had my femdo lasik at the eye foundation salem,done by Docter Ashwin segi. He was calm , assuring and explained the procedures of my lasik which made me relaxed. And the support staff has been excellent and had a good time and service there. If you guys planning for a eye related enquiries or services you guys can visit the branch. Highly recommended.

I had a nice experience here! Dr. Ashwin and the entire team were incredibly kind and professional. Dr. Ashwin explained that I was best suited for an IPCL procedure rather than other treatments like SMILE or LASIK, and he did so with great professionalism. Initially, I explored other hospital too, but the hospitality of the Eye Foundation stood out for me simple and straight. After a month, I chose to undergo the surgery there, and I'm glad I did. The procedure itself was smooth and surprisingly quick--it took only about 20-25 minutes. Dr. Ashwin and the nursing staff were attentive, and supportive throughout the entire process. They ensured that I was comfortable. Now, after a week, I'm already feeling much more comfortable and no longer dependent on glasses.
