Dr. Courtney Ridner

Dr Ridner has been great. He takes the time to talk with you and answer any questions. The staff is very friendly. Really had no wait time at all to see Dr Ridner. He performed my cataract surgery on both eyes 2 weeks apart. Surgery went smooth and no pain at all. Vision is now clear in both eyes and I am very pleased.

I think Dr Ridner is very good at what he does on all fronts: from explaining situations ,to offering possible solutions, to answering questions. He /his staff are kind and efficient and prompt about appt times. Also Dr Ridner was very comforting and reassuring during during my cataract procedure. I highly recommend him.

From the moment I walked into Dr. Ridner's office, I felt completely at ease. His staff is absolutely amazing -- Dr. Ridner's girls were so kind and supportive, holding my hand, making sure I had everything I needed, and truly going above and beyond to take care of me. Dr. Ridner made me feel so comfortable and confident going into my upper eyelid blephroplasty, and the surgery itself went incredibly smoothly. He did such an amazing job that I haven't even bruised! Everyone in the office was attentive, compassionate, and professional. I needed to have my I checked for some flashing and floaters. Being far away from my normal ophthalmologist, I did a local check in Chattanooga and found this doc with all five star reviews. Sometimes I'm skeptical, so I checked them out--all great. I made an appointment and they cheerfully got me in the next day. (How often does that happen?) At appointment time, they got me right in on time. When I met the doc, he was extremely competent and courteous--to say the very least. When he laughed when I use the word "doofer"-- we realized we had a common background as Air Force pilots. If you're looking for a top-notch office, where people love their jobs and an outstanding doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and personable, then look no further, this is the place! Entire staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole procedure. Kept me well informed on what was thier procedure and if I had any questions. Great people.

Consultation visit. As with all previous visits, a most pleasant experience with all of the staff and doctor. Hardly any wait time and once called back, everyone displays their excellent training and knowledge to insure one receives just what they need. I was born with a rare hereditary eye condition. I am 60 years old, with that being said I have seen many many eye dr's in my life. I basically have to go every 4-6 months for a checkup with my condition. He saw my daughter one time and totally changed her life. He sent her to another dr he thought could help her, and boy did he! So when I saw another dr for the first time and didn't like him I thought I'd give Dr Ridner a try as well. With everything above being said I can't say enough about how impressed I was with him. He answered all my questions and explained everything to me in detail, on my level, not some high Dr level. If in need of a new eye dr I'd definitely give him a try. I'm very picky given I've seen so many in my life. And he is right there with the other top ones I've seen in my life. Just fyi I'm new to the area as I moved from out of state is why I needed a new eye dr.
