I arranged an initial consult for my husband with Dr. Gannon after reading several other positive reviews online. My husband has wanted to pursue LASIK surgery for years, but could not find a decent MD within the Chattanooga area. We are so grateful to have found Dr. Gannon. His office staff and scheduling team is top notch. On the day of his LASIK surgery, he went into the building with 20/60 vision and walked out with 20/15. 10/10 highly recommend Dr. Gannon! He's a great guy and does incredible work restoring vision.

I moved to Chattanooga a couple years ago and had to find a new ophthalmologist. I went to Pomerance and became a patient of Dr Gannon. Dr Gannon is just absolutely wonderful!!!! He is very patient and very thorough in his exams. He explains everything to you where you can understand it. I just went for a few years and got my eyes checked and everything was fine and then all of a sudden my vision got blurry. I went in and had cataracts on one eye so we scheduled surgery. The next month I had cataract surgery on the other eye. Of course I was scared but Dr Gannon explained everything to me and everything was done to perfection!! The cataracts were removed and I have the new lens that are working great. I attribute all of the success to Dr Gannon!! If you need cataract surgery or just a great ophthalmologist, see Dr Gannon. He is absolutely the best!!!!!

Dr. Gannon is the best. He's very knowledgeable, up to date on all the medical advancements in eye care, and also able to explain his diagnosis in layman terms so I understand what's going on. He is empathetic and kind and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him! And Monique, who works with him is also excellent. If you need an ophthalmologist, he is who you need to "see"!

I am writing this review to share the positive experience I had with Dr. Gannon . I had been referred to him by my eye doctor for cortical cataract removal and, initially, I was very anxious about cataract surgery. Upon meeting Dr. Gannon and learning about the options, my anxiety was replaced by calm and confidence. I selected the laser assisted surgery and the Clareon PanOptix lenses to correct an astigmatism and correct my vision. The surgeries were quick and painless, and the difference in colors, acuity and distance was greatly improved. I now have 20 20 vision in both eyes. I am so grateful to Dr. Gannon for his expertise, professionalism and warm personality. As a result of my positive experience, Dr. Gannon will also perform cataract surgery on my husband in the near future. I am confident that his experience will match mine.
