Dr. White and his staff are excellent providers all-around. You can expect modern, high-quality care and attention to detail here. I had my first eye exam in over a decade one year ago and my second this morning. Each visit, they are friendly, prepared, and are able to see me at exactly the scheduled time. I have been impressed with the cleanliness, efficiency, professionalism, and technological sophistication of their practice. Dr. White also has a very remarkable ability to communicate his medical expertise and the prescriptions/products available in a way that I can clearly understand and that enables me to make highly informed decisions. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Chattanooga area. Many thanks to Dr. White, Melissa, April, and Melinda! Before my first visit, I didn't even know how much I was struggling due to poor vision, and deciding to make an appointment was such a simple and easy improvement to the quality of my life.

I was quite impressed with Dr White and his staff. I needed a new eye doctor after a move from out of state. His explanations of eye anatomy and treatment were in laymen's terms and if not, he explained them.
The office has up to date equipment which is quite fascinating. The office staff were warm and welcoming. I felt quite at ease during my appointment. The physical office is a very clean and comfortable place. I would readily recommend him to my family members without hesitation.

Dr. White and Melissa were very friendly, patient and compassionate when performing an eye exam on my 5 yr old daughter. They were thoughtful and texted before to let us know they were running a bit behind on appointments that day. Then they sent a sweet follow up card to the house addressed to my daughter. We came here to get a second opinion on our son's recommendation for eye surgery,not because we were necessarily seeking a different outcome but because our experience with our previous eye doctor left us feeling a lack of trust and we felt they weren't great at dealing with children. From the minute we entered Dr White's office we were treated like family, everyone from the sweet lady in the front to the optometrist assistant were incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us. They understand children get nervous and took the time to get on our son's level and ease his anxiety so we could do a thorough exam.
