Guy at the desk was rude. I have been going there for years now, same insurances all those years nothing had changed at all. He told me I have to pay a copay. I told him my secondary insurance always pays that and he rudely said we'll see about that. So I go sit down and fill out paperwork and see they have my insurance information wrong on one of them and when I told him (once again he was rude) and said we have the right card now and I told him no same as last year and I told them last year it was the wrong one. I sit back down lady ask me to come up said I have to pay because they could not contact my insurance and they are short staffed and she doesn't have time for it right now. Then she asked him what time my appointment is I told her it was 10 and at this point it was after my time. She said you can pay it and we will pay you back after they pay so you'll get your money back. ( in past dr offices don't give it back the credit you) . I told her I am out of work and I don't have it so she tried to make me reschedule like my gas and time is worthless I don't think so chick. I told her I'll find another dr because they could not treatment I have received today . Never ever again. I will let it be known

Some people are afraid of the dentist; I'm afraid of the eye doctor. The technicians and doctors at East Ridge Eye Center worked patiently with me to ease my (irrational) fears. Thank you for a good exam.

I found the staff and doctors of East Ridge Eye to be professional, knowledgeable and would recommend them to anyone in need of eye care.

I love this office! I have had glasses for 10+ years and used EREC only. Both Dr. Richmond and Dr. Dozier are kind, courteous, patient, and professional. I don't trust anyone else with my eyes! It's also a huge bonus that their Optical Dispensary is up and running. 5 stars for the doctors, awesome staff, and the great management team.

If you want a patient to bring their contact box in order to get a new contact prescription (which has never happened to me before), you should probably ask them to do so before the appointment. Had to schedule another appointment with another doctor because I come from out of town. Waste of time and money.

My family have been patients of East Ridge Eye Center for several years. Dr. Richmond and Dr. Dozier are considerate, efficient and experienced. Their expertise, to me, matters. I never have a doubt if I have any issue that is eye related. I know I can trust them and their professionalism. Their staff is also courteous, knowledgeable and experienced. Most of their staff members have years of experience. This means a lot to me and my family. We have always had great visits, follow-ups, exams, etc...everything you would want in a provider. We highly recommend East Ridge Eye Center!!

I've been wearing contacts for 15 years. Been to MULTIPLE eye Dr's. They told me they take my insurance and let me schedule an appointment for contacts, but didn't tell me until I'm already in the office that I needed to bring my contact box to get contacts that day(why is that important when I am getting an I exam you'll know my prescription off the exam never been told this once by any eye dr) then asked me if I would like to schedule to come back and get contacts completely waited my time. It's stupid to require a contact box to get contacts when you're already having an exam, and if you're going to have an asinine policy like this then you should make sure to TELL PEOPLE AT SCHEDULING NOT IN THE OFFICE ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT.

I've had nothing but great experiences here at East Ridge Eye Center! From the front desk to the staff and Dr's, everyone is pleasant, caring, and efficient in my care. I have full confidence in their practice and have never had an issue. I highly recommend them and wish them continued success!
