I had an incredible experience at MyEyeDr. The staff was courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, and didn't attempt to upsell any features. The manager, Miss Toria, was exceptional.
She answered all my questions in a very detailed and thorough manner. She ensured I received everything I needed, offered me options, and did not try to oversell the features, which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend anyone in the market for an eye exam or new eyewear to visit this place. It's top-notch, and the staff is fantastic.
Dr Daniel & Toria were excellent! They were patient and professional. I purchased contacts and they were patient to let me experiment with different samples between mono vision and multi vision until I found the prescription that worked best. Toria was so helpful in selecting some beautiful frames and assisted/coached me in adapting to wearing progressive lenses. Toria looked for good pricing and matched comparative pricing. I highly recommend them both! Thanks to both of you. I always enjoy coming in for my eye examine. This office runs very efficiently and is on time and I'm always in and out so quickly. Thanks so much. I'll see you next year!
Torria at the downtown Chattanooga office has been taking great care of me for several years now. She always knows exactly what I need and takes fantastic care of me. She is so kind and loving not just to me but to everyone I see her have contact with. She is a valuable asset to the company!
I liked it much better before MyEyeDr took over. I kept going mostly out of convenience but my most recent experiences will be my last with them. The exam has always been fairly quick and easy and the eye doctors have been great. However, the office staff will offer a highly varied experience depending on how they feel that day. For an unpleasant example, when asking for my new glasses to get adjusted, I had to ask 5 or 6 times for the same adjustment because they just didn't move anything at all and handed them right back. Not a big deal, patiently worked through it with them until I got the adjustment I needed. It was more the smarmy attitude and replies that bothered me. I was told it's too hard to adjust this type of glasses, that my nose was crooked and the glasses were fine, and some other not so pleasant or helpful commentary during this process. I watched them rough handle my glasses until they scratched the new lenses and then I was asked about MY warranty for THEIR damage. They eventually accepted fault, ordered replacement lenses, and I now have glasses I like that fit well. Given the overall rude / unprofessional complaints, replies, and unsolicited criticisms I received from their staff along with questionable competency to do their job properly and attempting to push blame onto me, I can't recommend anyone to this office. To put things another way, everyone here is "nice" but there's not a whole lot of kindness in this office.
It was the first time my 9 year old son had ever been to an eye doctor. Everyone made him feel at ease and the staff is so friendly. Such an easy process from booking online, insurance verification, to walking in and being seen quickly. Will recommend!
I would recommend that if you buy your glasses from My Eye Doctor you have to see Toria. She is funny and the service she provides is unmatched.
I really can't recommend this company after the experience I've had. I scratched my lenses on January 1st and called the next day to order new ones. The person I talked to told me it would take about 5-7 business days, so I figured it would be pretty simple.
A few weeks went by with no updates, so I called back. That's when I found out the original employee I spoke with had suddenly quit--and my order most likely was never placed. The new rep took the order again and said they'd let me know when the lenses were ready.
Since then, I've called four different times trying to get an update. Every time, I got something like, "I don't see anything in the system" or "Let me check with the lab." Eventually, I got through to someone in the lab who told me my lenses were ready... but they were waiting on my frames. I never ordered frames--just lenses.
So now it's been almost a month and a half since I first tried to place this order, and not one person has reached out to update me. Every single update has come only because I called. It's been frustrating, and honestly, the lack of communication is pretty disappointing.
Once I finally get my glasses, I'll be looking for a different eye doctor--hopefully one that offers better service than what I've experienced here.
We booked a 1p appointment for our 6-year-old in-person for an eye exam. At the same time someone else booked a 1p appointment, as well, so we were asked to change to 12:40p instead. It was a tad earlier than we wanted, but we said yes. On our way to the appointment from Hixson, our uber was stuck at the railway crossing for not 1, but 2 freight trains as well as traffic. We called to apologize & let them know we would be arriving at 12:56p. To our dismay, whoever we spoke to said we would have to reschedule to the next day because we were arriving 1 min after the grace period (that we were never even informed of). We then had to reroute our uber & obviously pay extra. As a pregnant woman dragging a 1-year-old & 6-year-old in the cold & being delayed by something out of my control the day before NYE, this was not a good experience during the holidays. Especially after being informed by my uber driver that he had received a text from myeyedr that same morning urging him to drop by before the year ended. Additionally, had we not called to inform them of the later arrival, we would've arrived & they would've just sent us back home. Not a good experience & would not recommend.
