The absolute rudest nurses/helpers in the back. I would never ever recommend this clinic to anyone. Go where you will be appreciated and are treated with respect for you won't be here. I had the surgery. One eye is good the other eye needs surgery again. I will find a new office for sure.

Staff was great. Dr. A. was great, and cataract surgery went well, so the low rating is not reflective of the staff. The quality of my vision post-surgery is no better than what I had prior to the surgery. In fact, I would say it's slightly worse. I could see so much better with my cataracts and glasses than I can now with no cataracts and $9K worth of new lenses in my eyes. My intermediate vision out to about 10 feet is ok. I can see my computer screen without glasses, so that's a plus. Today I have no cataracts, which is good, $9K lenses, and can't read the menu listing on my TV, I can't see road signs until I'm right on them, driving at night is not good as lights are flared and have halos (same as with the cataracts), and my eyes are super sensitive to light. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations, but the expense of the lenses was an absolute colossal waste of money. I would not do it again.

Had cataract surgery paid extra over 4000.00 to not wear glasses anymore. I was told surgery would correct my astigmatism. It did not! On 2nd eye surgery i wasn't given enough anesthesia & I was alert & felt the procedure painfully. I would not recommend

One Star is to many!! They did all the office stuff- took 3 hrs- then scheduled surgery for me. The surgery center called me to let me know what to do for pre- op etc. Then I show up for cataract surgery and it was canceled because they don't accept my insurance- how do you NOT call your patient to let them know BEFORE they show up???? And how do you not check that before scheduling surgery??? Ridiculous!!

Kind, friendly, helpful staff. First visit was almost 3 hours because of the many tests and photos of the inside of my eyes. The Doctor explained what was going to happen with my 1st surgery and that I was going to have the other eye operated on 2 weeks later. They're very good at explaining everything to the lay person who doesn't know what the heck is going on. I highly recommend them.

They do not return call for appointments confirmation.if you're on hold, after 9mins. They respond sorry we missed your call. Leave a message then no response and it will hang up. Insurance is terrible. They will schedule appt without referral, you have to pay the bill! Also not good to correspond with primary doctor. This office needs retraining or completely new staff!!!!! I can not recommend them! The DOCTORS may be okay but they need to know what is happening in their office! Perhaps reporting to Tn Medical Board will get some attention! They do not deserve one star!

I am very pleased with the medical care that I received at Clarksville Opthalmology Clinic. I was given step by step of information and what to expect for my procedure. Eye exam was extremely through and easy. Dr. Areephanthu and the surgical team are outstanding. They work so well together and give fantastic patient care. I can tell that they really care about their patients. Thank you very much.

As a specialty medical office wait times are sometimes a bit long (expected) but I have never had to wait more than a 10-15 minutes before being seen (then usually another ~10 minute wait to see the doctor). Dr Gannaway is pleasant and very professional. Surgery for cataract went well, one week later my vision is almost fine already. I was advised to wait about 7 more weeks to get new glasses as there will be some additional adjustment and healing. This is my second surgery with Clarksville Ophthalmology. The first was miraculous. I had been literally totally blind in one eye all my life. I was able to read within about 8 weeks of surgery on that eye, where previously I couldn't even tell if there was a person in front of me using that eye only. I looked through these reviews and am surprised with the low scores, some for non-issues like wait times.
